He doesn´t have to, just knocking him out is enought, which he is more than capable to.

Can you knock it something with that amount of regen? I guess it's possible with intangibility to do some weird stuff with eternal organs too buuut...

Spongebob does have a way of hitting him with his guitar?

Gunvolt can easily absorb non-omnidirectional electricity to recharge his own EP, so yeah, it´s detrimental here if anything.

Spongebob, however, can break the intangibility with his water manip, which can be troublesome for GV, allowing to then just do physical blows to him.
