Gremmy Thoumeaux vs Kusuo Saiki

Take away the common misconception of Gremmy being stupid when faced with Kenpachi and you actually end up with someone who immediately puts others into crippled or dead states.

If Saiki's bones were turned into candy can he undo it quick enough?

Yup, he could read the thoughts of others. So he would act aggressively right away.

Gremmy can do that, alongside other fatal moves. He has a likelier chance of OHKOing right off the bat.

How that will help him if Gremmy thinks him dead? unless Saiki have faster reaction time than Gremmy, he won't read Gremmy mind and react in time to stop him

If Gremmy thinks Saiki is dead then Saiki will die.

Saiki senses Gremmy's hostile intent and immediately takes action. From there, he has many options: mind manip, fear manip, BFR, petrification, teleportation etc.

Gremmy thinks "I want to kill this guy."

Saiki reads it and immediately takes action. A very in-character action is (since its not a combat oriented verse) teleporting to the moon or the other side of the planet. Since Gremmy can't affect him from that far away, he can catch a breather, come back and look at him without his glasses on from a blind angle. Gremmy is turned to stone.

>Gremmy is turned to stone

Gremmy can turn Seiki into cookie

>Seiki BFR Gremmy

Gremmy can BFR Seiki as well or Gremmy can hide in shadow dimension

>Mind manip, fear manip.

Nothing new to the Sternritter Army, Gremmy is the strongest among the Sternritter army.

Do you randomly meet a person and kill him without thinking about doing it first? Gremmy will think about taking care of Kusuo in some kind of wording or another before starting his RW attacks. Kusuo detects it and reacts. Not to mention, he can detect hostile intent by aura, so

Yes by standard battle assumption

Character is always willing to kill his opponent, so Gremmy already want to kill seiki thus start the fight by thinking him dead.

Sure, Gremmy can turn Saiki into a cookie, but not if Saiki turns him into stone first. Same for the rest. Having better powers does not make you win automatically.

Nothing new and strongest of the Sternritters... What does this even have to do with anything? If Gremmy doesn't have resistance, he doesn't.

He still need time to read and process Gremmy intentions. Gremmy will think him dead and he die.

Gremmy is feared among the Sternritters army and no one in the Sternritters army who can defeat him in fight with the exception of Yhwach.

He has the ability to think fast in any situation. He will react to Gremmy extremely quickly.

Don't bring up the other sternritters and Yhwach. They are irrelevant to this fight.

Equal speed does not equate Saiki's genius level intellect and quick thinking to Gremmy's idiocy. Sorry to say it but that's how it is.

In case of Saiki, it does. He reality warped his verse for the characters to have an accelerated thinking rate. Naturally, this applies to him as well.

Also, by your own statement, the characters are willing to kill, so what exactly stops Saiki from killing Gremmy first due to higher thinking speed?

I think It does. thinking speed will translate into reaction speed

Speed equal only not apply to speed amplification techniques.

Basically, a person's thinking speed will be normal under normal situations but extremely rapid when facing danger or other important situations.
