I assume their logic is that since Kratos does not harm children and Rentarou has Plot Manipulation and a great Social Influencing, it could not be onesided.

Although I don't know if Plot Manipulation or SI would work on Kratos.

Kratos doesn't resist Plot hax and I suppose a kid trying to talk would make Kratos hesitate at least for a while.

Istg Kratos has been in more nonsense matches than he was in PS All Stars.

Anyways, plot can't affect Type 1 concepts/Type 2 info without feats and vice versa. So I suppose his soul is safe but likewise, he can't adapt to plot hax either.

That said, Rent's a kid, so he's not gonna attack or harm him. The social influence might talk him out of the battle, since this Kratos is a lot more willing to end conflicts than start them.

Is his plot manipulation thought-based and if so, what's he done with it? Since Kratos can just like, grab his arms and put him in a gentle hold if need be.

Rentarou is very emotionally smart, he would easily know that Kratos isn’t like an active threat very quickly. Then he probably tells Kratos that he deserves a second chance over his past mistakes or whatever lol

He has rewritten entire stories and changed the ending, flipped pages to learn information or see the past or future, drawed panels of his manga, broke outside the borders, ripped through thousands of manga pages to travel, claimed he would rewrite the entire series if his girlfriends were to die and more.

But I lowkey think they just wouldn’t really fight especially since Kratos would not start anything and Rentarou isn’t agressive at all unless his girlfriends on the line

Although I don’t even know what actually happens when two characters just kinda don’t have a fight, from what I remember the one with better influence wins but I personally think thats really unfair. (Since it feels more like an Inconclusive) but what do you think/know?

This isn't really going to come down to who has more charisma, cause Kratos just needs to convince Rentarou not to fight the pale brolic war god in front of him. Neither of them have particularly high bars to clear in terms of convincing the other.

I dunno much about either character to say anything beyond watching 1/2 seasons of each but don't both have comparatively fewer qualms about killing their opponent than the two here?
