I decided I wanted to do a tournament with BNHA characters. So why not start today? Just have a bunch of U.A. students, then add a Pro Hero and a villain, and you have yourselves a tournament. The first match in the bracket is Tenya Iida vs Eijirou Kirishima. Let's get into the details.

-Speed Equalized

-Location: Open field

-Range: 1.5 meters

-Win via death (I didn't do both in character because they wouldn't kill in character)

Votes:

Iida: 7

Kirishima: 2

Inconclusive: 0

Tenya scales to 1438305000 Joules while Kirishima broke the armor of a Zero Point-Bot which wasn't scathed by an explosion that had a force of 753120000 joules. Going from that, Iida has higher AP.

If he has both higher AP and speed then that's a pretty big advantage. I think Kirishima should have the Durability advantage but I don't think that's enough to win against someone with the mobility and stats advantage.

Well, said difference is 1.9x and if Eijiro is able to turn Unbreakable here he'll have the advantage. But if Iida loses the boost coming from Recipro Burst then Kirishima might be able to take advantage considering that he has less problems when it comes to stamina. He's able to reactivate his amp at least while in very bad conditions, something that I don't recall Iida doing.

Right now I'm not voting, just giving some opinions.

Actually, they should be more or less equal in AP terms, since Kirishima can trade with Tetsu, who can harm him. And Kirishima took a lot of explosions from Bakugou and, like Iida, likely scales from Chapter 1 Bakugou.

That being said, since they win by kill (for some reason...) And Iida broke Stain's ribs with Recipro (Who can take 0.8 tons fire from Shouto) His recipro should damage Kiri badly, or outrighr kill him if Kiri isn't hardened.

So I guess my vote goes to Iida, unless Kirishima hardens before Iida can use Recipro, thefore, he can outlast Iida and beat him

Just pointing out that if Unbreakable is allowed, then Kirishima has both the AP and durability adventage. He can easily outlast and eventually beat up Iida that way. I vote Red Riot.

Unbreakable lasts 40 seconds so Iida has the edge and should win by blitzing for 10 minutes so even if Kirishima uses his base hardening to tank it he'll last less than 10 minutes.

Recipro Burst doesn't have the AP necessary to even dent Red Riot Unbreakable, and any hit Kirishima lands on Tenya is strong enough to actually do something. Plus any hit Iida lands on Kirishima is going to shred his legs to pieces, so even if Iida blitzes (which he won't in this fight), he won't have much of a problem
