I mean yea, it's just that I still think Magetta's wincons are greater. He was able to put Super Saiyan Vegeta on the ropes and was completely unharmed by any of his attacks. Goku doesn't usually insult his enemies, especially non-evil ones like Broly, so it just seems more likely to me that Magetta defeats Goku with his durability or lava spit.

He only wore Vegeta down so much due to the enclosed space and rising heat, iirc

He's not going to be able to wear Goku down that easily since it's open space
