Goku In Space - Can He, Or Can't He?

I think I read somewhere of how long a normal human survive in space, and "at most, an astronaut without a suit would last about 15 seconds before losing consciousness from lack of oxygen." Even though Goku is from an unusual alien race who lives literally from Friedrich W. Nietzche's famous quote "that which does not kill us makes us stronger" from their genetic trait Zenkai, adapts in different conditions (i.e., like training at higher gravity), and so on.
