God of War: Ragnarok Discussion Thread

Just cuz he ain't got the tat? Lol maybe that was more symbolic?
Yeah nah, it wasn't. He lost his vitality when he lost the tattoo, and his magic with his ashes.

When does Angrboda say this? I believe it of course, as all generations of the Greek gods could shapeshift.
Right about where Loki asks if him turning into a wolf is a giant thing or a god thing.

Thanatos daughter and Hades too. Not a lot at all. U right.
Nah, not Hades, he had to call back his flesh pieces to put them back on. That ain't regen unfortunately. So that just adds Thanatos's daughter.

Well we know he never got any more powerful when he first got the tattoo. Nor his ashes. He gained power when trained under Ares and the Gods.

Yeah makes sense.

He did Regenerate from Kratos stabbing him in the head. The fates, too.

And he had to lose them all to get back to Calliope. Didn't even have his weapons on which gave him power, least of all, his Blades of Chaos.

The Fates did. Hades didn't. His skull still had a big-ass hole.

"Yeah Universal Kratos is whack
I do think they top out at Multi-Continental with the exceptions of the Primordials (Whom create stars)
Though note that's scaling to Kratos from II onwards
He doesn't scale to any of that unless it's through other means (Ala Pandora's Box or the Gauntlet of Zeus) in Ascension all the way through to I. "

Kinda annoyed by this " Nobody scales to Primordials" thing. Not like it really matters but still.

People just be ignoring the fact the Titans straight up fought and killed the Primordials

**** sake Cronos literally chopped off his dad's dick lmfao

Okay, now I'm kind of annoyed.

Someone is javascript botting the Ares page just so "universe creation" is removed. Man, he's coping so hard.
They'll never learn. The GoW2 Novel shitcans them in the face, but let them stick with their "muh canon".

Do we know when exactly- Kratos was cursed to be unable die or we just know it was before the self stab?
It happened literally after Kratos died, which is like, quite a bit after the stab and power loss was already complete.

I mean, even for THEIR standards he has issues.

So much issues that they straight up perm banned him like 6 hours ago
At this point I'd strongly suggest staying as far away from CV as possible and just forget it ever existed. It isn't good for anyone's mental health, even for comedy.

Oh alright, have scan for that?
Like, when Athena curses Kratos?

That's not something that's directly shown, but thoroughly implied in the post-credits scene. Kratos legitimately died soon after Athena took the Blade out of him, but in the post-credits scene, a blood trail leads to the edge of the cliff, from where Kratos fell off.

Kratos later reveals, quite a while after his wound's already healed, that he's now cursed to a deathless misery, and if it weren't for the curse, he would've been able to easily kill himself by plunging his own Blades of Chaos through his heart to end his suffering.

Alright
Also is Thor killing kratos some curse neg bs or Just the curse being vaguely lifted

Hm
Anyways do You have scan that thor didn't actually killed kratos?
Uhhhhhh... there isn't any scan like that tho. We saw Kratos die on-screen and all, loading screen and all that. Only thing is that it's not lore-relevant at all, it's just to show how strong Thor was.

Ohhh alright
I was thinking it's a canon death due to how it was shown
