God of War: Ragnarok Discussion Thread

Yeah, the novel considers the Desert of Lost Souls to actually be an alternate dimension enterable only via a portal, so people arguing about its endless wrong ways and it being endless being evidence of the infinite sky and infinite Underworld being hyperbole are about to have the worst wake-up call of their lives.
Do you have information about the dimension that Ares created during the fight against Kratos?

all i know is that in this dimension there are stars and a galaxy so big

You know, if that art-book that one guy was talking about did come out and did indeed say that each Yggdrasil branch transcends the other, where would that even place Yggdrasil?

Nowhere, because "transcends" itself is very vague of a term to qualify for higher existential superiority. It'd also need some more evidence of viewing the realms as "spatially flat" or "like drawings on the pages of a storybook".

Ah, alright was just curious, because he seemed to be talking about it as if it'd place Yggdrasil on a higher tier.

shouldn’t kratos get resistant for concputal eraser in base since he was able to tank garm eating him, the same wolf that ate the fifth season as a pup?
Garm can eat concepts but that doesn't mean the things he eats are eaten conceptually, it's more like instead of Garm choosing to eat something physical he chose to eat a concept. I would also say that surviving bites isn't the same as surviving being eaten.

Ok, we’ll he was clearly out for blood of so I don’t see why he wouldn’t try to conceptually consume kratos. Garm would have to be able to bite into a concept to eat it so regardless kratos is tanking some lvl of erasure

I don't think that's is how that works. It would be different if it was stated that everything he eats gets conceptually erased but that isn't what happened. Tyr wouldn't have been able to regrow his arm if that were the case because the concept of his arm wouldn't even exist. And that still wouldn't mean that Garm's bites are conceptual either as that isn't eating.
