God of War: Ragnarok Discussion Thread

That one about the Tree's branches all infinitely transcending each other and a few others. However, there still is possible evidence for Tier 1. There's a legit email from Cory that says the info from that scan is valid, and we still haven't finished the art book for Ragnarok just yet
Hm. Well, we never know. Should stay 2-C until there's sufficient proof (whether that being the art book as you stated, or the card games being elaborated/explained by the devs) though will stay 1-C in my heart.

I still have my doubts on that TBF.
Agreed. Though, the claim that it may be within the next art-book isn't the worst, as if it's not, it's easily debunkable. At least it's not some fake SS claiming that "Death's Domain transcends the concept of dimensionality and physics"

Ranking of the dumbest GoW characters (minus Pandora's Box stuff, and animals, non-sentient/sapients and such don't count).
  1. Atlas
  2. Icarus
  3. Modi
  4. Athena
What's your rankings?

True.
Cronos should be up there, to be honest. He doesn't exactly seem like world's smartest being.

Magni is more stupid than Modi, got himself literally one-shot.

I wouldn't say it's stupid for that reason, since they were babies and only got out because Zeus ejected them. What was kind of stupid is thinking he can just eat the (albeit somewhat depowered) God of War.

Also, it's worth noting that my list didn't include everyone. There's other characters in GoW that are stupid.

Who knows, maybe off-screen Cronos eats Gods of War for breakfast.

Ares would be on there if I cared enough to go past 4. But I don't see him as stupider than Athena.

Ares and Zeus are royally the dumbest of the bunch. Ares literally gave away his deceit to Kratos instead of capitalizing on it by putting the blame on the other Gods knowing full well that Kratos would wipe the floor with him if he went after the one thing he loved the most in the entire world enough to keep fighting (Even the Furies knew targeting his wife and children was a royally bad idea given just how Kratos was born from day 1 to be a Godkiller as per the prophecy) and then after seeing Kratos back from the dead, instead of just killing him on the spot, he just simply bragged about his success like a big fat duck while Kratos just launched a bolt at the chain.

And Zeus just literally went out like a dumbass and undid all the effort he and the gods went through to seal the Evils into Pandora's Box because he liked Kratos way more than any of his other children, a little bit too much. Him having sent after Deimos and having cursed Callisto was bad enough as is, but he just had to go push it a little bit way too far.

He deserved that death **** ares. You know I also think Hermes was dumbass.

I mean if He had left kratos alone he would have survived but the dumbass kept messing with him and it cost him both his life and his Greek air jordans.

Hermes was a dumbass but a lazy and arrogant dumbass. His ****-ups weren't going to do anyone any harm TBF.

Hera was the one who saw it coming from a mile away, no bullshit, just straight up told Zeus to kill Kratos the day he was born, and it didn't even have to be Hera who ruined Kratos's life like she did all the other demigod children, it was Zeus himself who did the deed of uprooting Kratos's life from day 1.

I feel like if some of the Greek gods weren’t stupid and smart they would have left kratos alone and might have lived

Honestly I could also see an alternate universe where Heracles and kratos team up. (If only kratos could somehow convince him though)

Wished Hercules was a rival character

wasn't Kratos inspired by him (having their families killed and force to do some shit to atone)

I guess.

Also kronos was a dumbass for eating kratos

Note to self: do not eat someone while they have the blade of Olympus cause you ****** up if you do that.
