Okay so here goes nothing.
Disagree:
EXTRA: Kratos should also get Instinctive Reaction via the GOW1 Novelization as per this scan (GOW1 Novel Chapter 6) and this scan (GOW1 Novel Chapter 16), as well as this scan in GoW 2018 Novelization (Chapter 4).
Agree: 8 ( Me, @XXKINGXX69, @Planck69, @MARVEL_Future_Fight_Gamer, @ATalentedMaid, @GilverTheProtoAngelo, @Theglassman12, @Elizhaa )
- Kratos should get Reactive Evolution (Overpowered Castor and Pollux's Amulet of Uroboros as per WoG, where initially he was severely affected by said powers as again confirmed by WoG twice, but by the end of the fight Kratos completely ignored and overpowered the amulet’s effects and proceeded to brutalize Castor and Pollux. Overpowered the Sisters of Fate cutting off his Thread of Fate as per the GOW2 novel without even noticing it, and then Kratos killed them all regardless) which in turn grants him Fate Resistance. The Sisters initially suspected it being the effects of Pandora’s Box protecting him (GOW2 Novel Chapter 46), but now it has been determined that it is merely speculation on their part with no substantial evidence to back it up, it could also be referring to the other Great Evils in the Box, especially considering that Hope went dormant after Kratos killed Ares using only a sliver of said power and barely turning the tide with the Blade of the Gods, and not even Athena knew that Kratos took in Hope to kill Ares until she started to piece the puzzles together and realized that he wasn’t powered by the Evils of the Box as she had initially thought, but rather he actually took in Hope without realizing it, and she even realized that it was his immense guilt that locked away Hope within him, and that it was only finally unlocked once Pandora’s memories got to him. As such, his current Fate Manip Resistance justification should also have the mention of the Box removed and replaced with him developing his own will.
- Kratos should also get Resistance to Death Manipulation as a result, as per the above scan from the GOW2 Novel’s Chapter 49, as cutting his Thread of Fate should have crippled and killed him instantly, but absolutely nothing happened to him when they plucked his thread, he just developed his own will to fight on and change the events.
- Norse Kratos should retain Accelerated Development and Reactive Evolution. The entirety of GOW 2018 revolves around the plot-line of Kratos slowly regaining his old physical strength he once had at his absolute peak in God of War 3 which he is now making an active effort to hold back on (Recent Ragnarok spoilers confirm that he retains his GOW3 era levels of physical strength barring PoH, but not the other hax), where in BoG 2018 he is a little rusty but as he progresses further throughout the story he shakes that rust off and slowly gets back to his original power level, this is hammered in multiple times by the events of the game (When held back Kratos becomes serious against Baldur in their first fight and is unable to do much after being punched into a rock and rendered stuck, but Kratos then immediately powers up after Baldur threatens to destroy the house and Kratos is back to ragdolling Baldur all over the place and destroying the rocks around them) and the official blog post here, as well as the 2018 Comic-Con interview with Cory Barlog (Scan here, video here). Also confirmed by Eric Williams himself (Source: Here, Video link here). Some more new spoilers in Ragnarok will also eventually confirm this. wink wink
