> So yet again you are just resorting on poetic language? "They fought for an eternity" doesn't mean they fought for an infinite amount of time, christ.

For the last time, stop strawmanning my arguments. I never said that. I said that it's a supporting argument to Cronos creating time.

Also, I'll go to dinner rn and will return soon.

@Kep

So wouldn't the logical conclusion be that Cronus is the God of time, considering he has actual lore supporting his status as God of time both in God of War and real lore?

It very much might. People agreeing with both sides doesn't matter, what matters is who says the truth. Altho agreement definitely helps.

I'm neutral on the World Pillar and Cronos birthing time, but agree with the Uranus and Nyx thingies. What's arguable is if it's an outlier.

Considering every major feat in God of War is Tier 6 or lower than Cronos killing Uranus is the only Tier 3 feat for a non-primordial? It's undoubtedly an outlier.

I'm not well-versed in God of War lore (excluding GoW IIII, sort of), but Cronos' feat of creating time with his birth seems inconsistent. Every other feat is Universe level while Cronos' is Universe level+, an infinite amount above the those feats. Also, is there proof that he sustains it with his power and existence? When he was killed, time didn't cease to exist all of a sudden.
Do correct me if I'm wrong or if this argument has been debunked in a part of the thread I haven't seen.
I would like to ask this again. Does he do this through sheer power, and is it an outlier either way?

Ok. Thanks.

Worth noting that the tweet also says they fought for Eons, which is an indefinite and very long period of time, but still implies a period of time, so it contradicts itself. Also she says "for me", meaning it's her opinion.

After reading every single post I believe the majority agrees that Matt makes sense. Can we close the thread?

EDIT: Reason: Is going in cycles.
