GV is immune to physical attacks and elemental attacks while Anthem'd.

But i do not know if GV could endure being punched by GER, and i have no idea if GER could negate GV's AoE Electrical field.

Any of GV's attacks get CMed to 0 and GER resets his willpower to 0 as well.

Gunvolt's only chance is to do nothing, since GER cannot punch nothingness.

GER is more about defence than offense. Willpower reset makes GV's desire to fight Giorno go away, resulting in his loss.

In any case, GV can't hurt Giorno in any way, so stomp.

GER cannot do anything to gunvolt either if he doesn't attack. But the will power thing is a good point.

Why wouldn't intangibility help here? You can't be punched in an infinite death loop if you can't be punched.

Its achieved through Causality Manip, something GV neither resists, nor does intangibility help with. Its not mind manip.
