Gilded has no problems with just beating the opponents with his fists if he doesnt have his sword (He did so to both Jade and Bog), its also resistant to melting
Also also, The longer Dilded is in a fight, the stronger he gets through reactive power level, and even if Genos does manage to damage his armor it can regenerate

@Nico If youre looking for a guy to fight Qrow then hold off a bit, there are a few good scythe wielders in Hyun's dojo that dont have profiles yet
