Ghost Rider (Marvel Comics) VS Spawn

I know this battle has been done on multiples sites from the internet on forums, but I just want to know a definitive answer...

Defeat: Combatant has been; Knocked out, Killed, Destroyed, Removed from reality, or runs out of Stamina / Fuel.

Victory: Combatant does not fulfill Defeat conditions.

Inconclusive: Stalemate between the two combatants.

And for the record we are using the current versions of both of these characters respectively.

I'm aware of that, but from what I've seen (Keywords: I've seen) they always mention God/Divine Spawn. I just want to use the current versions.

Yeah, even current base Spawn is Solar System, possibly Multi-Galaxy level, and FTL, Ghost Rider is Large Building level and Hypersonic+...Plus Spawn way more hax than GR

And from what I remember Ghost Rider states that only God can kill Ghost Rider. He did say that.

Unrestricted Ghost Rider is actually same tier as Spawn now.

Spawn. He has too many hax.

Time Stop, Hellfire which can destroy opponents on a molecular level, Teleportation at light speed, Create Black holes, Pain manipulation, Nature manipulation, Reality Warping.

Holy shit! Spawn is so broken in his abilities.

Actually, GR has resistance to fire based attacks. I mean the dude's skull is burning with hellfire so...

I'm actually more interested in what the Penance Stare would do to Spawn.

That's if GR can hold Spawn long enough to use the stare. Not counting Spawn's speed, Simmons can spam teleport so he'll be hard for GR to catch, and he can manipulate time too.

We just have to remember that Spawn actually uses Necroplasim for his powers, if I recall correctly.

and if I remember correctly, other non-supernatural entitites such as Venom and Deadpool resisted the penance, so I have no doubt that a higher tier character like Spawn can do too.

Venom and Deadpool don't 'feel' remorse for the things they have done. Thus they couldn't be hurt by the sins they commited.

But according to the things I see here, the Penance Stare still works on people on who don't feel remorseful. I just think the Penance Stare keeps getting changed depending on the writer. In the end, it does what the writers feel like.

Going to go with Spawn now. All GR has going for him is the Penance Stare, which which people say wouldn't work on Spawn. So, Spawn has my vote.

Point taken, but what does Spawn have that can hurt Ghost Rider? Hellfire no, Reality Warping Ghost Rider has resistance against.
