Geralt's Height Revision

Ciri (Green) is about 505px tall. That's 175.26 cm. The yellow line is lined up right at her heels so as to make the height measurement easier.
Her heels (blue) are 22px.

Heel height= 175.26/(505/22)= 7.966364 cm,

175.26+7.966364= 183.226364 cm.

Her head (blue) is 51px.

Head= 175.26/(505/51)= 17.7 cm.

The artwork has the hair of ciri drawn in such a way that the forehead is almost impossible to find. So I used the game models and voilla.

Both Ciri and Dandy are standing on level ground here.
Ciri (yellow) is 480px or 183.226364 cm.

The green line just helps me measure how much taller Dandy is than Ciri.

Dandy is taller than Ciri by 39px (Red vertical line).

480/39= 12.307692307692307692307692307692x and 183.226364/12.307692307692307692307692307692= 14.887142075 cm.

So that makes Dandy about= 14.887142075+183.226364= 198.113506075 cm.

AKA Geralt is definitely 6ft 6 inches, which starts at 198.12 cm.

So if geralt is in fact 6'6 then the other character with canonical height would be vesemir who was stated to be an inch shorter than geralt (so at 6'5)

ALSO HOLY SHIT I FOUND OUT SOMETHING

Now when you defeat kiera at horse racing she says geralt would be perfect for a jockey

and geralt replies if he was a foot shorter and five stones lighter

AND THE AVERAGE HEIGHT FOR A JOCKEY IS 5'6

summing up everything in this thread,

We know that djikstra is nearly 7 foot meaning that he is at least 6'11

Geralt alongside Ciri were confusing, at first it did make sense geralt is 6 inches taller than ciri (5'9) meaning geralt would be 6'3 but after discovering that ciri has 3 inch heels it made geralt jump to 6'6 which at first was doubtful but after his statement on being a foot taller than a jockey (Average height 5'6) it is confirmed that geralt is indeed 6'6

And alonside that it confirmed the height of vesemir which was stated to be an inch shorter than geralt meaning 6'5

Djikstra - 6'10

Geralt - 6'6

Dandelion - 6'5›

Vesemir - 6'5

Ciri - 6'0

That SS has them standing at the wrong places, my in-game screenshots show Djikstra to be considerably taller than Geralt. Either that or Geralt is raising himself up just for spite.

I did the height measurement with boots but like I stated before, for Geralt they basically make no difference in height. Will do a bare-feet version very soon if possible.
First, I need Geralt's head.

In the first picture, Geralt (Yellow) is 508px tall. Ignore the red, I just used it to line with the heels to make drawing the lines a bit easier.

His head (Green) is 56px.

Head= 198.12 cm / (508/56)= 21.84 cm.

In the second picture, Geralt's head (red) is 89px.

The blue is for lining geralt's forehead with Djikstra. Djikstra is taller than Geralt by 44px (Yellow).

21.84/(89/44)= 10.7973034 cm

198.12 cm + 10.7973034= 208.9173034 cm or 82.25 inches or 6ft 10.25 inches.

SO YES, DJIKSTRA BEING NEARLY 7 FEET IS CONSISTENT AFTER ALL.

And no, most other characters and NPCs are not at all comparable to Geralt in height. Usually they're considerably shorter than him by a few centimeters. They absolutely do vary in-game as well, otherwise we'd have noticed the discrepancy by now.

Everything stated ingame about heights also correlates with the actual height of the 3D models in witcher 3

Exactly. No reason they'd change the model heights in cutscenes either, it's just the viewing angles that make them look similar in height.

A better comparison between Geralt and Dijkstra can be made with Undertaker and Big Show, on celebheights Undertaker is listed almost 199 cm and Big Show 208/209 cm. If we look some photo of these two together, we can definitely tell they look very similar to Geralt and Dijkstra.

Anyway, checking some boots in some shop, I'd say Ciri's boots are around 8,5-9 cm, so, Geralt can definitely be a strong 6'6, something like 198,8-199,3 cm. So, I'm going with 6ft 6 ┬╝ or 198,8 cm for Geralt.

Apollo seems to be correct, this should come to a conclusion and calcs which would be effected by his height get recalculated

The calcs would get affected, but they're just last-minute changes and wouldn't really increase the result much (As in, don't expect major tier-changes). I can carry them out once I've gotten Ciri and Geralt standing side-by-side in a screenshot.
