Some are part of their abilities, and some are pure game mechanics.nuke it unless we also accept constellations as part of their abilities
Nevermind, thats her talent skills, not constellation. Some are part of their abilities, and some are pure game mechanics.

We don’t accept constellations?i searched it and it seems to be a money based ability (Constellation level 6) so i dont think this needs to be explained, nuke it unless we also accept constellations as part of their abilities
theres not a set rule where we accept or do not accept these, so i dont know what to do abt itAgree
We don’t accept constellations?
Is this some sort of rule that has been established? If so please link me to it because I may need this![]()
We could accept their constellations if it's part of their abilities in the lore. But if not, then we wouldn't.We don’t accept constellations?

to be fair we had instance of seeing ninguangg constelations on screen and traveler when we unlocked pyro elementWe could accept their constellations if it's part of their abilities in the lore. But if not, then we wouldn't.
Thats something we could accept, because they used those abilities from the constellations in the lore.to be fair we had instance of seeing ninguangg constelations on screen and traveler when we unlocked pyro element
We accept eidolons but the resistance to these stuff is pure gameplayAgree

Still need to wait for at least 24 hours to apply. Grace for a minor threadNuke it, it already got one vote, theres no need for 2 votes for this one.
Since you’re here already I have a question, when it comes to gameplay exclusive abilities not referenced in lore do we accept them or they’re not acceptable?Still need to wait for at least 24 hours to apply. Grace for a minor thread
I mean.. If those abilities coming from the character itself in the gameplay then it would still acceptable, because that's literally their abilities that they can do that, yk.Since you’re here already I have a question, when it comes to gameplay exclusive abilities not referenced in lore do we accept them or they’re not acceptable?
Let’s say for example there exists a mechanic that certain characters can utilize (something not exclusive to their elemental powers or weapons) would that be gameplay mechanics or would it be indexable?I mean.. Maybe you're talking about something like passive talents. Some of the characters has passive talents like if you have this character on your team, then something would happen.Let’s say for example there exists a mechanic that certain characters can utilize (something not exclusive to their elemental powers or weapons) would that be gameplay mechanics or would it be indexable?
The mechanic is called Vital View from Zenless Zone Zero (a Hoyo game, right down your alley)Maybe you're talking about something like passive talents. Some of the characters has passive talents like if you have this character on your team, then something would happen.
The unacceptable one is like materials tracking on the map, you should know this when you look at the map and you see a hand logo. This one is pure game mechanics.
The acceptable one is if their passive talents does make sense in the lore. For example, Flins. If you have Flins and you're going near an enemy (especially Abyssal Wild Hunt creatures), his lantern will go red and gave you a signal. This is make sense since Flins as a Lightkeeper/Ratnik is always fighting against the Wild Hunt in the lore.
In Genshin, that kinda reminds me of Hexerei characters. These characters if we at least put 2 of them in the party, it would buff their abilities. Though, theres actually lore-reason behind this one.The mechanic is called Vital View from Zenless Zone Zero (a Hoyo game, right down your alley)
If you don’t know, it triggers whenever you trigger an evasive assist (opposite of a defensive parry, which blocks an incoming attack and slightly staggers the enemy) which dodges the enemy attacks and induces a slow down effect on the environment.
On the profiles it’s indexed as a speed amp for the characters who can utilize it (which is a little sus, I’m pretty sure it’s a literal slow down and not a speed amp) but wouldn’t this fall into Gameplay mechanics?
It’s not the byproduct of character abilities, it’s just an overall game mechanic certain characters can utilize.
Depends, thing like stats, damage hax is fine. Other than that, most gameplay only thing isn't acceptable, can't really explain in general like thisSince you’re here already I have a question, when it comes to gameplay exclusive abilities not referenced in lore do we accept them or they’re not acceptable?
which i dont see is the case with both ZZZ and Genshin outside teleporting around and just leveling up etcGame Mechanics refers to the abilities shown in games (usually video games) that are determined by the rules of the game (examples include hit points, levels, statistics, world map crossing in seconds outside of cinematics, etcetera) and are not necessarily indicative of a character's or entity's actual abilities.
Do we index perfect dodges onto profiles as a speed amp/ static manip for characters?usually if gameplay mechanics are something like this:
which i dont see is the case with both ZZZ and Genshin outside teleporting around and just leveling up etc
its part of the abilities so i dont see a problem with it being stat/speed amp that they got accepted, plus afaik some of the supporters have shown the case in cutscenes or story i forgorDo we index perfect dodges onto profiles as a speed amp/ static manip for characters?
Counter argument.
