I think Wingard said the next one will be the Godzilla version of GxK, with Big G as the main character. Otherwise, it seems the next Monsterverse movie is solely about him.

Okay, who are the main characters again? Godzilla, Kong, Scar King, etc.. These are the guys that receive the development, from Kong trying to find his family to Godzilla's long history of watching over Earth. They also don't understand parts of the movie that build off the other sources like Monarch: LoM and the comics. I think with time, the Monsterverse will grow on them.

I feel like in terms of atomic breath presentation, Minus One is either in the top spot or extremely close to it.

I like the ones where they're still a fiery breath instead of a super laser so while Shin Godzilla is cool he doesn't make my top 3. Final Wars < Monsterverse =< Minus One

I have a fondness for the misty breath that Showa Godzilla had.
Probably because when it got cold outside, it was easy to pretend that the vapor I breathed was Godzilla's attack. It was easier than trying to pull off a Kamehameha as a kid.

It felt a lot more like fire than a beam of light, which would seem more realistic for the 60s and 70s.
