The countries still have no way past Steven's High 6-A shield/bubble

True. But that's to say the Gems won't fight each nation 1v1. Assuming that happens I don't believe the Gems can tank 1 hit.
However if they all fight together closely, Steven's shield will only inhibit their offense.
