I will say how do we count garnet’s inconsistencies with precognition. Because first episode she could predict a full randomly game with like a hundred possibilities so hard she got stuck in the motions. But in another episodes she has a crisis over a cat’s like immediate actions. If we go off first episode garnet literally can’t be touched and wins through sheer precognition, otherwise Mao is superior physically and has a sword so one stab and garnet is getting floored. She heals, Mao stabs again, sees the gem, and presumably should just crush it.

Pretty sure it’s based on what exactly she’s looking for. Like how in one episode she thought her Future Vision wasn’t working because she kept looking for futures where Steven acted like a child who always needed help when he was already too grown up for that. Considering she doesn’t know Mao Mao and he is highly impulsive which is known to mess with Sapphire’s future sight, I’d say getting all his moves predicted is out of the question. He’s also got a very wide arsenal to pull from here.

I see, then yeah I lean towards Mao. It won’t be as one sided one way or the other as I thought but it means that if she gets thrown off guard once she really had to protect herself as being stabbed as consistently popped gems in the show.

I'll vote Mao Mao, piercing weapon have been shown as highly dangerous against Gems (well dangerous in the sense it can easily poof them) and should Mao Mao not shatter the gems for any particular reasons, at best Ruby and Sapphire would have to refuse as Garnet, and both of them are much weaker than Mao Mao is, so he could likely dispatch them before they could actually do so

Voting Mao Mao FRA. He’s skilled enough to land a good enough hit to destabilize Garnet’s form and then he just has to stop Ruby and Sapphire from refusing. So basically just taking the spoils of his victory which seems in character. Garnet would have to work harder for a win with his resilience and superior AP as well.
