no, low 2-C would be if he destroyed the entire timeline. he only destroyed 10 days. it might qualify for high 3-A though, the tiering system is a bit vague about it so i'm not sure

That's not how it works. He destroyed the entirety of the universe by clawing out Monday. That's still low 2-C regardless whether or not the entire calenders is destroyed or not.no, low 2-C would be if he destroyed the entire timeline. he only destroyed 10 days. it might qualify for high 3-A though, the tiering system is a bit vague about it so i'm not sure
It's universal + if it destroys the universe. It is only universe level if it only destroyed all the contents of the universe without affecting it in its entirety but right here. It is clear cut the universe. Not just it's matter or content. Went straight to heck.destroying the universe is universe level…
We've all assume that the universe is low 2-C at the very least my guy. Everyone who made a low 2-C profile uses destroyed the universe as the main center of their justification“Low 2-C: Universe level+
Characters or objects that are capable of significantly affecting[1], creating and/or destroying an area of space that is qualitatively larger than an infinitely-sized 3-dimensional space.”
the universe is not qualitatively larger than an infinitely-sized 3-dimensional space
Second scan isn't really Weather Manip so much as Creation. Otherwise agree.
Don't really agree with this being Fear Manip, this is more Social Influencing which, under cartoon logic, can affect an inanimate object.
Mind hax additions
Here
I believe this is an exaggeration of reality in-universe, the joke being that Garfield felt he was getting very old while little time was passing in actuality. Disagree.Regeneration from being turned into bones
Here
Seems fine to me.Age Manipulation via calendar
Here
This is definitely a comic panel. Some how survives being blown up
I don't think this one is explicit enough, gonna say no.Possibly reality warping via calenders
In the Gow verse theres CM 2 because the wolf eats a word and a season so why shouldnt garfield get CM2? He destroys the concept of mondays right?I don't think this one is explicit enough, gonna say no.
I don't intend to address God of War but one might assume that a black panel is not exactly sound evidence of anything in particular, regardless of the content of the previous panel. Unless you intend to tell me that Mondays no longer exist for every panel afterwards? In the Gow verse theres CM 2 because the wolf eats a word and a season so why shouldnt garfield get CM2? It's still a gag so obviously Mondays wouldn't just cease to exist forever, but I do think it'd be a solid Conceptual Manip feat.. Or technically Time Manip?Unless you intend to tell me that Mondays no longer exist for every panel afterwards?
I mean cartoons dont have contiunuityI don't intend to address God of War but one might assume that a black panel is not exactly sound evidence of anything in particular, regardless of the content of the previous panel. I just don't feel it's solid enough to warrant an actual ability. Shit's too vague. It's still a gag so obviously Mondays wouldn't just cease to exist forever, but I do think it'd be a solid Conceptual Manip feat.. Or technically Time Manip?
This was considered when I made the suggestion, yes.I mean cartoons dont have contiunuity
Eh I feel like its a solid CM feat. He basically destroys mondays as a concept.I just don't feel it's solid enough to warrant an actual ability. Shit's too vague.
Garfield often features Negative Continuity. More often than not, changes to status quo won't carry over from one strip to another.I don't intend to address God of War but one might assume that a black panel is not exactly sound evidence of anything in particular, regardless of the content of the previous panel. Alright, I still disagree that it is solid. So I'm not accepting it.Eh I feel like its a solid CM feat. He basically destroys mondays as a concept.
Alright. Dammit CM 2 garfield would be hilariousAlright, I still disagree that it is solid. So I'm not accepting it.
I can note continuity doesn't have much strength on the comics but it actually does exists in forms of comic seriesGarfield often features Negative Continuity. More often than not, changes to status quo won't carry over from one strip to another.
Of course the strip's creators won't cease to have Mondays, one of Garfield's biggest focuses (Garfield is notorious for his hatred of Mondays.), cease to exist in future strips.
But Negative Continuity things often still happen.
Social influencing? cartoon logic? That's kinda taking two over complicated leap assumptions to say intimidating light is social influencing under cartoon logic and not just call it fear hax by occums razor.Don't really agree with this being Fear Manip, this is more Social Influencing which, under cartoon logic, can affect an inanimate object.
The second one still counts as Garfield hypnotizing John even if it looks cartoony.
- Hypnosis seems unserious, disagree
- The second scan also seems potentially unserious?
- The third scan has Garfield specifically debunk this as a negative intelligence feat for Odie over legitimate hypnotism.
Ok, you open a can of "it must be a exaggeration" on this feat but still accepted the weather feats in their gagish nature as just creation feats.I believe this is an exaggeration of reality in-universe, the joke being that Garfield felt he was getting very old while little time was passing in actuality. Disagree.
Under cartoon logic, inanimate objects can be frightened despite not being conscious. This you stipulate, not I. Therefore there is no difference between being terrified of intimidation or some supernatural fear manipulation that is left unnamed. In this instance, Occam's Razor would actually favor social influencing- it is easier to presume something by which we can recognize the mechanics than some unnamed force.Social influencing? cartoon logic? Ok, you open a can of "it must be a exaggeration" on this feat but still accepted the weather feats in their gagish nature as just creation feats.I definitely don't see a mild line of selective inconsistency with that
Nothing in this argument strongly leads the conclusion straight to social influencing over fear hax just because there's a toon logic behind it. I can take your exact logic and say popeye roaring the stripes off a tiger is social influencing but still be opposed to say it's fear hax cause toonforce logic "allows" it to be either or but not the latter.Under cartoon logic, inanimate objects can be frightened despite not being conscious. your book must be way too high a to think a cat Manipulating memories to get pizza isn't sufficient to even be a thing, my suspension of disbelief says the contrary on that.Making John rethink pizza ordering isn't sufficient in my book, no.
If your implying I'm gaslighting then no.The weather feat had physical effects. If you want them rejected, I'm not certain why you're proposing them, homie.
Go ahead and do it, then, idrc.Nothing in this argument strongly leads the conclusion straight to social influencing over fear hax just because there's a toon logic behind it. Noted, my "book" remains too high, though.your book must be way too high a to think a cat Manipulating memories to get pizza isn't sufficient to even be a thing, my suspension of disbelief says the contrary on that.
I wasn't, I just didn't take the counterargument terribly seriously. If your implying I'm gaslighting then no.
Has it? I've accepted a selection of the CRT that I feel is clear or concrete enough, and the rest isn't accepted. The OP is listed in a simple manner, so going down the list, I have accepted:This just got confusing
Social Influencing would be fine if garfield didnt scare inanimate objects. That adds a supernatural in it showing us that it is indeed fear haxIn addition, I accept the Fear Hax feats as being actual feats, but feel they are more safely categorized as Social Influencing, as placing the resultant fear on the perceived threat of being clawed is much more sound than assuming Garfield has magical fear-related powers based on said claws, even taking into account inanimate objects being afraid (this is probably moreso the reality of the comic than an ability of Garfield's, but eh).
Gnar Eating concepts off screen = CM 2Concept hax ia pretty blatant. He basically ripped off a page that represents the day of Monday causing reality to cease.
Fear Manipulation doesn't defaultly work on inanimate objects either. When we take into account that Garfield is given Toon Force, we are not required to presume his Social Influencing operates as Fear Manip.Social Influencing would be fine if garfield didnt scare inanimate objects. Show me where the comic used the word "rip a concept out of reality", guy. Another person in this thread already suggested something I do think is a lot more sound given prior feats, that Garfield removed that time off the calendar, given his existent Age Manip feats.Gnar Eating concepts off screen = CM 2
Garfield literally Ripping a concept out of reality = Nothing
Weird logic @Mr._Bambu
So you are saying Garfield having a supernatural fear manip with toon force is less likely than garfield somehow socially influencing inanimate objects with his claws? Also how is mind hax not being "serious" work? Its a toon obviously it isnt serious.Fear Manipulation doesn't defaultly work on inanimate objects either. When we take into account that Garfield is given Toon Force, we are not required to presume his Social Influencing operates as Fear Manip.
Garfield rips monday out of the calinder. Next scene its the void showing mondays dont exist anymore- What else do you want?Show me where the comic used the word "rip a concept out of reality", guy. Another person in this thread already suggested something I do think is a lot more sound given prior feats, that Garfield removed that time off the calendar, given his existent Age Manip feats.
Alright then-I'll simply stop following the thread if it's going to come down to just constantly insisting on this feat being unreasonably interpreted for the LOLZ!!!!!!
Yeah, seems like Time Manip if anything..Show me where the comic used the word "rip a concept out of reality", guy.
