"Game of Thrones" and "A Song of Ice and Fire'' verse separation

The current verse page for A Song of Ice and Fire is a mix of the books and the show (Game of Thrones), which is a wrong thing since there are several differences between the two versions. Plus there are only three profiles about the books while all the others are about the show.
So I created a sandbox of a Game of Thrones verse page, exclusive to the profiles of the show. @Hakim is also working on a new verse page and profiles exclusive from the books.
It would also be necessary to create a new category with the name of "Game of Thrones" for the profiles of the show. The current category of "A Song of Ice and Fire" would be left for the profiles of the books.
It will also be necessary to change the link and origin of all the profiles of the show when the verse page is published, which I will do without any problem.
It will also be necessary to change the image of the profiles of Drogon, Rhaegal, Viserion and Gregor Clegane since they are fan arts (without credits) about the books.

Only read through the first book of SoFaI (God that's a horrible abbreviation), but from the clips of season 1 of the series, and general information I've scoured online this does make sense. There's clear difference in how both media are presented, and many parts of the TV series amalgamate stuff from the books altogether. Support this.

I also think that this seems uncontroversial to apply.

I can't create the verse page with the name of "Game of Thrones" because an article with that title already exists and it redirects me to the current "A Song of Ice and Fire" page

I created the Game of Thrones page. It remains to create the category with the name of "Game of Thrones", I don't know how to do one, and then I edit all the other pages

Thank you for helping out.

Somebody should probably create a new navbox template for the two related verse pages (the books and the tv show):

I was able to create the Game of Thrones category and I have already edited the 41 pages with their respective categories and links. It wouldn't have taken me hours to do it if half the profiles weren't a complete mess

We are still working on the new verse page for A Song of Ice and Fire and it will take several days to finish it along with the book profiles. What should we do with the current ASOIAF page?

You can probably overwrite it with the new version, if it is just going to take you a few days to finish your preparations.

Thank you for helping out.

What is currently left to do here?

@Hakim, who is much more knowledgeable about the books than I am, is working on a new verse page for A Song of Ice and Fire. So it only remains to wait for him to finish it to replace the current one

ASOIAF works better

And the premise is good, the show is clearly it's own continuity and I don't see why we'd not make it such (pages such as Euron Greyjoy would also be incredibly different)

The character of the books and the show are very different yes, but in the profiles there will be no big differences for the moment
