Sauron hax stomps

He can transmutate him with a thought, summon the dead, read his mind, teleport, predict his actions, and use the ring to make him his servant, along with many others.

In akkalbeth, Manwe sent his winds down against him and Sauron just ignored them.

He is also the "greatest of the Maiar", even without the ring, making him stronger than Eonwe, who fought Morgoth.

That just sounds like an outlier, considering how Morgoth is supposed to be far stronger than Sauron even at his weakest.

I've always understood Eonwe to be more powerful than Sauron. The Valaquenta even says that "his might in arms was surpassed by none in Arda" although the Valar are obviously stronger. So Eonwe was still the strongest of the Maiar.

But Sauron did fight Huan, who killed a Silmaril-amped Carcharoth. So that's a solar-system-level feat.

No he isn't. Morgoth at his weakest was slightly weaker than Sauron at his strongest (Morgoth's ring)

Pre-curroption Sauron was weaker than Eonwe, but he grew strongeer after Morgoth amped him ("And Haun grabbed the greatest of the Maiar by the throat")

@MasterOfArda That's true about the Huan quote. I was just reading that chapter the other day and forgot about it, ha ha

@The Everlasting Are you siding with Sauron or Frieza?

It's already been established in the Silmarillion that Maiar can survive and thrive in the vacuum of space with no difficulty. Morgoth actually recruited an army of Maiar from all across Ea before he destroyed the Lamps.

Can Freeza protect against being turned into dust, after getting pyscic hit that has enough power to terrify a city of elven warriors, after being exhausted from fighting an army of corpses?

I wanna say Sauron (Because third form freeza is just a Xenomorph in disguise!)

Simply because more hax.
