In insight, it makes less sense the manga Hakai can't destroy beings like Majin Buu when attacks the spirit bomb can. Also, Zamasu's soul was destroyed and not sent the spirit realm. While the sand is true for the manga, it likely could due to artistic choice

@Nedge I believe it's stated that those kinds destroy at the atomic level. This might be talking about the anime though.

What about the Hakai that Goku was using,did it look like Zamasu was being turned to dust?

If not EE it's probably a form of transmutation or something or limited Matter Manipulation.

Guys, I am neutral on the topic. Zamasu isn't implied to be sent to the afterlife after Beerus's hakai from the manga that is why it could actually be EE. Or maybe, it both Transmutation or limited Matter Manipulation and Soul Destruction.

A lot of characters weren't either. They don't show Kid Buu or Tagoma/Ginyu in the afterlife, does that mean they aren't there?

Kid Buu was reincarnated to Uub. Tagoma, Ginyu and other villains are in hell. If the Soul Destruction didn't happen then I guess that Haiki from the manga is a misnomer.

Forgot about that, sorry. Since when did they show either of them in hell? There's still tons of others that aren't shown in the afterlife though.

Frieza was already dead when Beerus threatened his soul, so it could be that.
