Many people have an aversion to the darkness. The land of shadow is full of mystery, and it's often seen as dangerous. Hence, many people prefer to stay in to world of the light. However, for today's contestants, they not only embrace the darkness, but their abilities revolve mainly around the use of shadows. Be it through the use of shadow clones to overwhelm their opponent, to a living sentient shadow that serves as a guard to its owner. But which of these two has what it takes to come out on top? Today, we find out.

In the blue corner, we have Fumikage Tokoyami from My Hero Academia, and in the red corner, we have Blake Belladonna from RWBY.

Fumikage Ready For Action
Blake belladonna by adsouto-daxhwzy
-This is a battle to the death or incapacitation. No holds barred.
-Neither character are aware of each other beforehand, and there is no prep time.

-Neither character are allowed outside help, though Fumikage's shadow is obviously exempt from this due to obvious reasons.

-This battle will take place in Mountain Glenn at sunset, meaning Blake will have the initial home-court advantage, though as the battle progresses, Fumikage will gain more of an advantage himself.

-This will be a fight between Blake in her Volumes 1-3 form, and while he will initially be fighting in a Light Environment, if the battle is deemed to take long enough, Fumikage will eventually be able to access his Dark Environment form.

-Speed will be equalized here.

With all this being said, let the debate begin!

Shadow Ninja: 7 (WeeklyBattles, Jinx666, Kiryu2012, Dargoo Faust, TheRustyOne, Ricsi-viragosi, Gargoyle One)

Shadow Bird: 0

Inconclusive: 0

Note: Just so everyone knows, I am aware that there are others of this exact matchup that have been done. But, those ones are ancient, and a new one was due anyway. So...don't question it.

Okay, so for the third time now,

Blake via her Semblance making it tricky for Dark Shadow to keep blocking from (Tokoyami can be overwhelmed by someone who is able to dispatch clones and get close), higher versatility in dust (including fire can create light), higher combat skill, and the fact that tokoyami himself is only wall level dura-Wise, meaning as long as blake can get past Dark shadow, which she can, she only needs a single shot to beat him.

Shameless argument copying of shameless argument rewording is shameless ovo

Tbf, Tokoyami struggles against duplicate clones, not after image clones. And now Tokoyami can actually get rid of his physical weaknesses using Black Anth and elasticity. Plus, in this new manga chapter, He can now fly.

He puts up a better fight now, but Blake still wins for all the reasons stated on the previous 2 threads.

Current Tokoyami may have a chance here as he developed a couple of new tactics that will probably help him here. Not voting but following.
