Fnaf at freddys discussion thread!

All of which can be the same thing if Oswald is just getting his dad's real self out from the ballpit
The ballpit is a physical place that Oswald can take things to and from. His dad is actually, physically, locked up there. Nothing implies that's just his soul or mind or whatever. Occam's razor

We using the book why?
This is a direct adaptation of the book with only very few creative liberties and plot changes, they didn't change the main conflict of the story

Yellow Rabbit kidnapped him, tied him up, and then disguises himself as him. Oswald then says, multiple times, that the YB is simply disguised as his dad and that his dad is being kept in the ballpit backroom. Nothing about possession

Except for, oh ya know, that ol' yellow rabbit is beaten by doing minigames and whatnot, it's got proof of High-tier Remnant in the book which it doesn't in the game, etc...

as for the rest, I suppose there's points to be had. I'll edit the profile.

Question: is the weakness section all fine?
The host thing should probably get removed since possession got axed. Unless you mean it doesn't like to leave the pit without someone to replace, in which case he doesn't refuse to do so, he just doesn't like it from the looks of things. He pops out to grab Oz's dad and then pops out again much later to grab em back in.

I'd also add that picture of William and Henry that makes him freak out to his weaknesses

Yeah the point is he never treads far, so it's all added. Any other additions?

Pyramid Head would be a banger match-up but sadly YB AP stomps BUT then PH has immortality hax so it can't really be killed by YB so ehhh

Thought about the ****** as another option but uh. Profile ain't that great

Movie PH is probably good though

edit: Depressionist is a censored word apparently lol

He'd just get corrupted, of everything, that's the definite thing that Yellow Rabbit would eventually do.

Pyramid Head doesn't have a wincon and the wabbit does.

Makes sense actually. I assume YB's corruption activates upon death, since that's seemingly what happens with Oswald

Very situational but works out very well against immortals, lol

Actually, he didn't die during that ending, he just attacked Oswald, and Oswald woke up, already corrupted without knowing it. It's something that takes Yellow Rabbit awhile to use, but he's got time here.

He's released into the wild!

Controversial statement: But I'd see Agony and Remnant be seperate pages due to their differences, and have specific powers in both REQUIRED to be exhibited by at least two seperate beings in the same way to go into the Remnant/Agony Page and not just the being's personal properties.

While This is mostly true, You are also forgetting they are doing a new book, an interactive novel. This is due to them having done changes to either fit into the plot better, and to make the game better. So I would advise Against using the books, as anything other then supporting evidence.

Sincerely, we could just make 1 page page called "Remnant & Agony" or "Remnant and Agony" and we put both things separately, but in the same ability, like this:

If it has both: Remnant & Agony physiology (Mid-tier and High-tier respectively)

If it has one:

1: Remnant Physiology (Mid-tier)
2: Agony Physiology (High-tier)

Already talked about this here before and in DMs. I fully agree.

That reminds me, We need to remove a lot of the Remnant abilities then. Since they are actually Agony.

This is so much better, damn.

Like Jesus Christ on a fazfucking surfboard that's good.

Ok, so, who would have only AgP, who RmP, and who RAP?

I would think that GF/TOYSHK, Willy, maybe puppet would have Hight tier of both RAP. I believe the ogs could have Mid-High tier RmP and Low-tier AgP?

It's kinda hard knowing who has what

Into the Pit Yellow Rabbit(This is both Novel and Game) would have only AGP

Ah well

Willy would have no Rement left.
Golden Freddy would be pure Agony too.
Puppet would have only Remnant.
Eleanor would start up by only having Agony, but would gain remnant in her other key.
I mean, something I know FOR SURE is that if you have a soul, you have at least SOME RmP. Which would include both Willy & GF

That is not true at all We do know, that the 2 shouldn't be capable of co-existing. Since if they did, they would make the user "All-powerful", God-like being. This is Eleanors goal in the Stitchwraith Stinger series, combing Remnent and Agony to become somewhat of a god.

Could you send the scans? Maybe it's just that having the 2 in high quantities makes you really powerful, not because of a reaction between the 2, but because but because the power they give is added to the other, but not multiplied or grown exponentially.

I wish, I only have Audiobooks for this shit... Makes it extremely hard to take scans (Also the main reason why I don't actively scale here)

No? They are opposites. They don't normally interact with each other.

I personally believe this is due to the heavy weakness of Agony, how it seems to weaken and disappear with Good emotions, and when replacing bad memories. So Remnant ends up neutralizing Agony. So no, Combining AGony with Rement, is usually the opposite of strenghting.

Also, it should be noted that Rement actually has no Offensive ability. That is only Agony.

On the profile there's a link that says YR scalles above 18 megajoules instead of kilojoules like the calc says

Well... I would still like something to analyse and gove a more throughly informed guess.

"Remnant is the mixing of the tangible with the intangible, of memory with the present". Remnant is not only good memories, it is memories in general. And even then, souls are literally remnant constructs, and have been seen using agony, like TOYSHK.
I would like to petition for other book readers to either back up or refute dark soul's claim

Yeah, that makes sense
