I get what you say, but also you should admit that at level of peak modern football Messi reached the pinnacle in skills talent and achievements now, dude was dribbling half of opposition team in modern football era when he was young, Messi shown to have mastered the striker position, the playmaking position, assist man And goal scoring all in a single footballer. No player ever did that with the consistency of Messi and won aa much as him. Won every single thropies could have been won, multiple UCL, ballon d’or, World Cup, golden shoes the list goes on for very long… now he won everything.

I think Messi and pele should not be compared due to massive difference of time, both GOAT in 2 context, so the comparison is difficult, but for me messi is the 1st due to have completed and dominated and shown crazy level of skill and talent in modern and the hardest football era.

People that say that are people that only started watching football yesterday for the World Cup, it’s very obvious, and saw mbappe scoring 3 goal in a final, and have not the minimal idea of what other legends did in 10+ year, that completely overshadow mbappe, so you should just ignore them they are likely just kids That stared watching football couple day ago and they have not the idea of what happened in the past, simple as that.
 
The team almost made the fourth goal lmao, Argentina just played so good.
And mbappe made 3 of them. 2 players ****** up penalties

Bro some guy from France team literally fked up in the first 20 minutes of the game and they barely got the ball after that. One other France player couldn't even get the ball in the post and misses it completely

If they barely got the ball is due to Argentine team, they had Di Maria, Messi, Julián Álvarez, Enzo & Mac Allister.

Randal Kolo Muani almost did the fourth goal and then win the World Cup, don't understimate France team, Mbappe is nothing without them.

And Kolo Muani??.. he did a goal in the center too, Mbappe is not the only good player of France, it is a good team but Argentina did it even better.
