FF revisions

Why does CoD not succeeding in destroying the World of Light and World of Darkness affect its tier? If it actually succeeded the game would be over.

@Dark

Ultimecia was going to compress all of space-time into herself. Does she suddenly get a rank down for being killed as she was about to succeed?

I agree with The Everlasting and Reppuzan.

These feats were going to happen, so they are a possibility while Neo-Exdeath was going to erase all the existance including itself, but we don't know how much time it needed to do it.

@Dark649

If they were going to happen that means that they were capable of doing it, and thus they deserve the upgrade.

So what stops Neo from being positively 2C?

Speaking of which that Necro on my old thread is the result of lack of sleep :P.

Stop bumping, if you want to revise them you need to find and post direct informations from the series along with calcs and etc.

Do we not have it here? We already decided-having positively 3C and FTL+ for most of the cast. What more do you need?

Read the previous comments. Ant disagrees with the upgrade because he thinks that is too much for FF12 verse and considers Gilgamesh appearance like that of a crossover character, you need to find more informations that proves the contrary after my comments.

Okay, about FF15: Ardyn blocked the sun (the sun rises AFTER he dies, so that means the sun had been warped away from the planet). The earth didnt stop rotating or anything like that, the sun just disappeared.

Is this a 4-C feat?

@Everyone scaling from Gilgamesh in 15 is completely wrong, here Gilgamesh is "The blade master" to whom the King's Shields go to test their strength. He has 2 arms. He doesnt reference the Void. He is supposed to have lived in that world for over 2 millenia. He is clearly a different one from the rest of Gilgamesh you fight. We dont cross-scale different versions of summons... so...

So, does anybody have good ideas for how to scale the Final Fantasy characters without using Gilgamesh?

I don't know as it requires a user to search for everything that happens in FF1, 12, 13, 14 and 15 [I'm busy at the moment], but in FF1 there is Marilith High 6-B feat, in FF12 there seems to be High 6-A feats, for 13 there is a 5-B feat for Ragnarok, for 14 there is the size of Dalamun light and Nael creating black holes and for 15 Pachi2 suggestion. For a bonus for FF11 there are damage enviroment feats from giant Shantotto.

Okay. I would appreciate the help with figuring out appropriate statistics.

@Dark649

Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy XIV, and Final Fantasy XV need to be looked at (I'm deferring to Ever on the last one), but there really shouldn't be an issue in scaling from Gilgamesh in Final Fantasy XIII given that there are already Tier 5 feats, you fight multiple characters from Final Fantasy V that are implicitly shown to be the same individuals as their original appearances.

I understand crossover mechanics may be worrisome, but Ever and I have shown that Gilgamesh's power is almost stupidly consistent across all of his incarnations.

I'd also like to bring up the fact that the Warrior of Light from Dissidia is implied to be the same Warrior of Light that appears in Final Fantasy I. He is able to defeat Feral Chaos, who subjugated Shinryu, one of the beings who created the world where the events of Dissidia take place and recreated it for each cycle of combat.

In Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, alternate versions of Final Fantasy XII's espers acted as the pillars that binded Ivalice's reality together, with it unraveling once it and the world-maker Li-Grim herself was defeated. These versions are later referenced in the sequel game by Vaan, Penelo, and Montblanc.

Well, again, I am just worried that we will make massive unwarranted boosts to most FF characters to 3-C, for the sake of convenience, even though some of their settings have shown nothing remotely approaching that kind of scale.

@Antvasima

I suppose. But I feel that at the very least, Final Fantasy XIII's ratings should stay for the time being, since it's consistent with their other Tier 5 feats.

That seems reasonable, yes.

I know he is a different Gilgamesh, but their current rating is better than an unknown tier.

Leviathan still is in command of all the seas in the planet, which, I believe, is a High 6-A feat?

@PaChi

No. What Ardyn did was unleash the Starscourge, which drank every bit of light before it hit the ground.

For now no, but why i have the impression that Gargoyle One and Gargoyle 1 are the same user.

You are right, I misremembered hat part. Its been a while since a played the game for the last time.

I would appreciate more discussion regarding how we should handle this.

So do you wish to scale everybody from Gilgamesh, or do you think that it is a bad idea?

Okay. You can place a message on his wall if you wish.

I disagree with this. It's fine as it is.
Having characters at sub realitivistic while others are FTL+ is inconsistent, at the very least that needs to change.

Well, it seems like nobody is certain exactly how to properly scale the characters.

Well, the Ivalice series has some Planet level feats through Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, with Li-Grim and the Espers creating Ivalice and overlaying its reality and history on top of the original human world as per Mewt's wishes. There's also the fact that they can defeat and control Zodiark, whose awakening alone can shatter the moon before obliterating reality.

I still need to look through Final Fantasy I for feats outside of scaling to Shinryu and Feral Chaos, but XI, XIV, and XV are outside of my reach due to their price tags and time constraints.

The Everlasting would be the best one to consult regarding Final Fantasy XV, but he's generally disinterested in directly posting on threads since his computer has trouble loading longer ones like this one.

Okay. Thank you for the help.
