Fear and Famine (Fear and Hunger Discussion Thread)

Fear and Hunger characters have some amazing endurance/stamina. Just cutting off an arm and going about your day is something else.
Also finally getting through Termina, and yeah. I thought the first game was crazy with stamina/endurance but 2 takes it much further. Even early on, there's that possibility

Also, should we be sorting abilities and equipment around the lines of...
What they normally have | What they could have if they managed to somehow grab everything | Magic | Resistances ?

I'm playing Termina, I haven't finished it yet, but I'm curious to know which level of the characters Termina at its peak?
Spoilers but text dump:
  • Just for speed the characters should at least have supersonic speed given they can avoid gunfire, and fight characters who can avoid gunfire in battle. Interestingly, Le'garde reappears in Termina and is able to dodge gunfire too, which has interesting implications for the speed of F&H 1 characters.
  • Termina cast should also scale from Le'garde physically, with ap + durability feats from the first game ranging from Wall level - Building level.
  • I calculated this after seeing it in game. This supports the higher end being a Small Building level feat from a relatively early moonscorched contestant.
  • Additionally, the main antagonist Per'kele can call down small meteors, which further supports the higher end of tiering, being Small Building level - Building level.
  • Magic and new gods should scale to or above these levels, albeit still relevant to characters who can use and fight against magic and new gods respectively.
  • Ascended + gods exist outside the world entirely as transcendent beings: At least Low 1-C from being beyond all timelines/fates in lore (the greater scheme of things).
  • On that, the old gods you 'fight' in game are just the traces they left behind in the world. In the first game, they make for a few final or hardmode bosses. Said bosses are 'beatable,' but only in the sense of progression. Characters are far from even remotely doing anything to these traces, or the one ascended god final boss in 1, and the traces and ascended god barely even try. In Termina; the old god Rher is the last to stay in the world, and the main cast 'beat' them to progress. That is: Rher just disengages from the fight out of a lack of interest to continue after a certain point. I'm sure it counts for something to fend off a moon, but the long and short of it is that the old + ascended gods are in a class of their own, and 'scaling' to their traces is at best just characters prolonging a losing battle (and inevitable death) against any of them unless said trace or god loses interest like Rher does.

It's worth noting that Kaiser is capable of one-shotting Termina contestants like Pav and August (the latter being on the stronger side of contestants). They can obviously beat him, so they are comparable, but notably weaker

It's only the traces of Rher. Even Rher has left by Termina (unknown for F&H 1 as he still has some direct servants showing up there).
