Extra Time Dimensions Clarification?

I have seen lots of talks about how Extra Time Dimensions could help qualify for immeasurable speeds, I seen that how an extra time dimension makes “imaginary time” or something like that, added to “real time” makes “complex time”, would something like adding extra dimensions that makes past and future no different from the present count?

Such as “past and future and not left and right, but up and down, and that you can walk them”? While also having ways of marking for linear time.

thoughts?

The idea of having multiple time dimensions is more or less nonsensical, IMO. We should only ever use it in a specific established context that a fictional universe does, rather than trying to generalize its meaning.

Showcasing complex time is already hard as it is.
While yes it grants immeasurable speed because of how it affects speed calculation. If a complex time is present it should be dependent to the verse on what is actually grants

In regards to how nonsensical it is.there are verses that actually has multiple time axis but some isn't really well elaborated upon yet can grant tiers and abilities. Tbh there should be a set standard on what requirements must be met before we consider the xtra temporal dimension to actually grant something or have a standard of qualitative superiority for it. But due to how extremely hard to grasp it let alone use it in narrative there isn't really anything we can base said set standard it should have

I got it, thanks, from what I understood mostly for the time dimensions standards is where the flow of time is beyond that of linear time.

so for the reference of the example I gave with extra dimensions which causes past and future to act as though they are up and down instead of left and right and that you can walk them. And there are means of marking linear time too.
