There's a mass of nothingness in Nevada that can't be destroyed but doesn't do anything.

It's a handful of shields with infinite durability that Hl3 was nice enough to scatter through the air and ground around Monarch's base so that any attack from now on can be explained away with "we got lucky and it hit the blob of nonexistence instead of doing actual damage".

Odd and the NPC kid he's taking care of signed the letter.
