seeing an attack that will almost definitely kill me if it hits me, i activate laser focus and disperse into neon particles, moving well out of range of the attack before it goes off

After the attack has went off, i rush back over to the man and create a massive, solid beam of neon particles many kilometers wide aimed directly at him

a small, black portal appears in front of me and, not having any other options, i go in and it closes behind me, and i seemingly appear on a planet with no stars in it's sky

after a moment, i open another portal back to the void, and see that the blast has seemingly already gone off and i exit the portal, still covered in darkness and basically invisible due to the void

I begin setting up a trap. I could sense the quiet one's magic dsappearing, he must have left the battlefield. I begin to use my strength to exert a pressure on the battlefield, leaving it as a void devoid of space time, that he'll be crushed in upon returning. After all he has to return in 10 minutes or lose by default. As a back-up I have several spells prepared to fire the moment his magic reappears.

And like so, I wait.

The heat vision is blocked by my barrier.

I slow down movement so you can't go far away.
