[It was an EMP with planetary range, which doesn't even necessarily correlate to AP, so it might even be less]

[It's a burst of electromagnetic energy. I have High 4-C energy which I am using to buff the EMP's strength, and using my control over electromagnetism to keep it around my body]

[Considering my fine control over EM, I could probably outright ignore shielding just by manipulating the fields to not conduct / magnetize]

[Fire is more a matter of durability, so not a good example]

Then I move the electromagnetic field between my hands and place my hands on either side of Walter's head.

[Yes, but it is intrinsically linked to Sentry's psyche, hence why mind wiping him has repeatedly been how the Void is defeated]
