In the comics, he went toe to toe with Raiden until he was free of the Blood Code. Should we increase Black's durability? He wasn't killed by any of Blood Code Raiden's attacks, he was merely shocked unconscious.

He has Shang Tsung's magic in him as revealed in his ending, which explains his longevity and ability to stand up to possessed Raiden's attacks.

Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn become more powerful everytime they consume souls, this could possibly be an explanation for Erron's durability against possessed Raiden's lightning. It can't be an outlier since Erron didn't even defeat Raiden and it was him who lost the fight.
