Eri vs the European Hornet, both are 10-C

Speed Equalized

Fight takes place in Eri's hospital bed and the window is open. First one to died or leave the room loses.

Eri:

European Hornet:

Inconclusive:

Does Eri need to touch it with her hands specifically to rewind? Or is that just her preferred method? If she doesn't then she EE's and is done with it. If she does, she just smacks it out of fear and EE's.

EE isn't Eri's go to move. She EE once and it was her father. By accident.

She was terrified during the battle against Overhaul and she didn't EE him.

That's probably because of something called "Abuse Conditioning." Abusers condition their victims into believing what the abuser wants them to. That the abuser is right and they are wrong. So this is probably why she didn't straight up use her powers against Overhaul at all, because in her eyes she was probably terrified to the core of him, but he conditioned her through said abuse.

how would eri even hit or touch the hornet? even with speed equalized its still a small flying creature that some adults struggle to hit, she's a chronically malnourished and abused six year old with little to no expierience dealing with anything besides pain, pain and more pain.

But she wasn't afraid when she EE her father or when she was about to EE Deku. She can't even control her powers that well. It's not in character for her to straight up EE someone.

This battle is weird af

Eri's quirk is ranged, she doesn't need to touch the hornet to rewind

I don't remember how her range worked. Was it against an opponent off the ground? The Wasp can fly.

Wouldn't she just erase it?
1. SBA she doesn't led with it.

2. The Hornet will make her panic and not think straight to aim her hand to kill the Hornet easily.

Didn't Eri erase someone in MHA due to panicking though.

I feel like the bee either gets erased or Eri just slabs it. Being malnourished doesn't make you weaker than a 1 inch insect; it would take the hornet a crap ton of stings to kill Eri while Eri oneshots.

The only person Eri EE was her father. She was about to EE Deku but she was holding Deku for a bit. It wasn't touch and instant EE.

She might as well try to squish the Hornet the old fashion way.

Then she just squishes it. Being malnourished isn't enough to make her not one shot. This is literally a normal human child vs a bee: the human child stomps hard.

Same here

But if she slaps it on the pointy end, she will retreat her hand like if she touched a hot pot.

The Hornet also has small size and flight. The Hornet can easily avoid her line of sight.

Dude regular human kids kill Hornets all the time and Eri is literally a regular human child but slightly weaker.

That's only if she slaps the pointy end and the momentum of her arm would kill the hornet before she had time to move her arm from the pain.

Where would she slap the hornet? She is sitting on her bed when the Hornet attacks and its aiming for her face.

Maybe I should unequal to speed.

I think Eri would be faster actually. Even if it is faster, regular human children kill hornets pretty easily so it's not a big advantage at all. If she's laying in her bed that just makes it worse for the hornet because it now has to be in front of her to attack her meaning it likely gets slabbed before it even makes it to Eri. Or it lands on her body/face and she just slabs it like a normal human would do.

Well, she sitting up when the hornet enters the room. (First image above)

That still means it most likely is coming from in front of her. Also it doesn't matter anyways because it's going to take over 20 stings at least to kill Eri (and that's being super generous) while Eri hitting it once practically kills it.

Ok, fine. This is a stomp. Or not, if the Hornet has 10% chance of victory.

What would even give it a 10% chance. Does every 6 year old have a 10% chance to die from a hornet?

Holy shit, Cancer.

But yeah, if it's possible the Hornet can win or chase Eri out of the Hospital room, it's not a stomp.

Eri being in the bed would make it so much harder for her to run out of the room. It would be vastly easier and much more likely she just slabs the Hornet. Also what other way can the hornet win; has there ever been a time someone over five lost a fist fight with a hornet. (And I've seen people under five eat bees before so it's not like a baby would directly lose a fight they would just get sick from eating the hornet).

If Eri slaps the Hornet in the air, the Hornet recovers. Remember, this is a girl Who has been trapped in captivity for a long time and probably doesn't have a lot of experience dealing with insects.

It would barely recover depending on how she hit it, and it may also get erased because that's still a power she has. Also dealing with insect isn't something you have to learn to do, just like how kicking and punching are things every human can naturally do. Sure she wouldn't have much experience but it literally just takes one hard slap and the hornet dies.

At best, Eri would Rewind the Hornet.

1. Eri doesn't lead with EE.

2. The only time she has shown EE in action was on Deku but it clearly wasn't instant or Deku and One for All would have been EE.

(Would this be a fairer fight if Eri faced a Tarantula and keep the condition she would lose if she left the room?)

Ok, i'm making another Eri vs Insect thread. I will find a fair fight for Glass Cannon Eri.
