A thread dedicated to the 2016 Indie Game hit, Enter the Dungeon, as well as its spin-off, Exit the Gungeon (and that one weird 1st person arcade thing ig).

Let's dodge-roll right into discussion!

To start things off, I've began a profile for The Bullet, which would serve as a sort of "template" for the rest of the gungeoneers once I get to them (the only difference is a few abilities with their different species).

Naturally, cataloguing and going through hundreds of weapons, items, enemies, and descriptions through both the Enter and Exit the Gungeon is going to take a while, so any help would be awesome.

Who’s the easiest character to use?
Sort of depends on what you define as “easiest”. If you’re just starting out, I’d recommend picking The Marine. His decent starting weapon, armor, and increased accuracy will help you get acclimated to the games mechanics.

As far as which character is the best out of the starting line-up (you can unlock more character later), it’s probably The Hunter. However, she is a bit more difficult to play in my experience, so again, if you’re a beginner, I wouldn’t recommend her your first couple tries.

But then again, you might have different tastes and preferences to me, so you should get around to trying out all the base characters. You might find one that just “clicks”, you know?
