Energy to Glass Sand?

So basically, I was doing some relatively basic Twilight Forest calcs for FC/OC, but then I came across a certain feat.

The feat is here, so this brought up a question...

What tier would you get for having heat hot enough to glass sand instantly?

Not sure if this is accurate but ill try

you need 1,760 Degrees Celsius to turn sand into glass according to Wikipedia.

1 Celsius Heat Units to Joules = 1899.1005

so 1899.1005* 1,760 = 3342416.88 joules

which is 3342.41688 KJ's which should be around 278 tons which is around 8-A

im super tired as it's very late this side so this might not be completely correct
