Energy Manipulation for MCU Iron Man

The MCU has a new comic, this is the only thing I could take out of it.
Tony also reacts to many lasers of unknown speed and his suit passively protects him from one of them, but nothing remarkable.

Only Bleeding Edge has this.

I don't think that "ruins" him in any way. Plus the comics in this case should be secondary canon so if there's a contradiction the movies take precedent

The comics sometimes do that. In another comic Captain America physically hurt Loki and tore off Iron Man's helmet with one hand.

Okay, I read it, and its just his energy projection.

The Proton Cannons rammed the turrets while generating energy. He is not really manipulating said energy.
