Actually this fight probably will still work if you change it to phantom blood Dio (may seem strange that a weaker Dio would be a better choice but he spams freezing while Awakened DIO doesn't). Dio has the regen to survive the Eater of Worlds hits and can freeze the Eater of Worlds to hurt it.
