I have a question in regards to how we treat earthquakes which are physically impossible to create on our planet, but happen within fiction, with stated numbers and damage caused to the affected area.
We're given a statement within Deadman Wonderland that Shiro's earthquake, dubbed the "Great Tokyo Earthquake", created seismic waves that were measured to be around 11.4 on the Seismic Intensity scale. This caused 70% of Tokyo to be decimated, with them being flooded with tsunamis, while entire buildings were crushed and destroyed.
So I wonder, with this direct statement from the manga, and the damage done to the environment. How exactly would we go about this calcing wise, can we use the number provided by the manga to gain a value, or since this is technically (fmk) impossible to create in our world, we can only calc the damage done to the environment, or maybe we can't calc this at all.
I'm not entirely sure, so I wanted to ask what should I do in this situation?
