Dragonball Cosmology Revision: Part 3

Both those claims only give more credence to Daizenshuu since Toriyama himself said that the Daizenshuu staff are more reliable than he is when it comes to DB cosmology
Toriyama never spoke on the credibility of the Daizenshuu 4 like he had for the Daizenshuu 7. Furthermore, Toriyama never said that the staff at Caramel Mama were ever more reliable than himself was in terms of the cosmology, just that he never seriously bothered with the cosmology to begin.

Toriyama supervised every single Daizenshuu
Wrote an introduction for every single Daizenshuu
Approved every single Daizenshuu
Is credited as the author for every Daizenshuu (take this with a grain of salt, still)
He called the Daizenshuu 'The Dragon Ball Encyclopedia'

There is no reason to doubt the validity of the Daizenshuus.

it's just Null being Null, just ignore it.

More of appreciation for a hard work, won't be going looking over each detail anyway and "endless" pretty common usage for a term in guide books, him nitpicking things and words just won't make sense not to mention he himself has forgotten many things whatsover. Anime has never stated universe to be infinite rather stated it to have edge and all.

Writing an introduction is not proof of validity or reliability. Hell, said introductions imply that Toriyama hardly even supervises the books; he gives the contents a cursory glance and moves on. Not only that, but the Daizenshuu books have proven themselves time and time again to be fully capable of contradicting not only themselves but the original story as well.

It seems like you haven’t read anything posted in the thread and I thought you were gonna leave the topic so what happened to that? We’re not nitpicking words the guides have differentiated the observable universe filled with light and beyond it which is darkness and we’ve shown that this darkness indeed exists with Yakon’s planet
The edge argument has been debunked multiple times as it’s merely the part of the universe that’s illuminated
basically are you using the guide to support a interpretation of the statement in the series to support the said guide?
I’m still confused on what you’re asking but ima just say this theres stated to be a darkness beyond and Yakon is an example of this

Toriyama did supervise the books and you keep saying the daizenshuu is contradictory but can you explain how it is contradictory it is your burden of proof to prove it’s contradictory

You're not making your case better. You're using visual representation to attempt to debunk something, which isn't really the best thing to try.
when said visual representation is the literal showing of how the universe is from outside, yeah i can use, where did you get this idea that we don't use visuals at all here?

Since you are so talkative, Mister Null, will you show us the contradiction?

no it isn't proved yet, the statement makes no specification of only being talking about the "iluminated part" to say that it is requires more proof from the series itself

the statement itself never specified that it is talking about the "observable" universe, so what is your evidence from the series itself that it is in that instance?

basically are you using the guide to support a interpretation of the statement in the series to support the said guide?
No. I am using the guide as supplementary information, as it should be used.
In Dragon Ball Z, Yakon's planet is stated to be on the edge of the Universe, where light doesn't reach.
In Dragon Ball Super, the show seemingly shows the edge of the universe and light and celestial beings are present.

With only these two facts presented, you'd assume that 'toriyama forgot', or that there was a cosmology retcon
But utilizing the guidebooks, you see that this is completely consistent with how the Daizenshuus explain the DB cosmology.

good thing that he didn't just write introductions and has himself said that he approves of the Daizenshuu, then.

No. I am using the guide as supplementary information, as it should be used.
when you say suplementary it would mean that there is other information in the series itself about it, in the said statement there isn't

In Dragon Ball Z, Yakon's planet is stated to be on the edge of the Universe, where light doesn't reach.
so the universe has an edge

In Dragon Ball Super, the show seemingly shows the edge of the universe and light and celestial beings are present.
therefore contradicting what was shown prior, aka a retcon

it isn't since for that you would need to assume that the statement in question is only talking about the light part of the universe when nothing in the statement suggests that in contrary to it just be talking about the general universe

What?

Well it literally fits into what is stated in the guides so what do you want me to prove?

i mean, the guides are secondary canon here, for there information to be used it needs to be supported, in this case i am asking what supports the statement in dbs talking specifically about the observable universe instead of all of it since nothing in the statement says specifies anything of the shorts

Which scan is that for?

The one with infinite is the Freeza scan
I was provided with this scan as well saying that there are more than one scan in the guidebook for infinite universe. So I am asking where is the kanji for mugen if not then this scan as well is invalid.

You know what's even cooler? People wanting to go against the creator's own material

Even having his writing in all guides, but no, it's not canon because yes

the guides are not his own material, he was not the one who wrote them, even then, anything from author statements or guides are only secondary and have no precedence over the actual series itself

The universe, an endless space that encompasses all the celestial bodies that exist in this world. It is one of the great worlds in this world, compatible with the "magical world. In the world of Dragon Ball, the universe is located below the other world and is closely connected to it by a wall engraved with mysterious patterns. In the universe, there are "nebulae," which are made up of countless stars, and there are "galaxies," which are made up of countless nebulae. There are "galaxies. Each galaxy has its own god in charge. Earth belongs to a galactic nebula at the edge of the northern galaxy, the solar system.

This uses "果てしなく広がる", which is "endlessly/eternally expanding", denoting a structure that continues to grow, rather than a structure that has already reached its peak.

Oh no, just because he didn't write it doesn't mean it's not canon, let's cite an example, episode G raquien and episode G kuramada didn't write it either, does that stop being canon? Of course that no! Akira toriyama has his own handwriting and autograph, and on the cover it says "Akira toriyama"

Oh no, it's not canon because there's a little boy talking 😔

Yeah I checked it because I was iffy when I didn't found the mugen in the entire scan.

Let's not play MTL vs MTL.
