Doesn't Acno's BFR move the target to the dimension where his human body is inside?

Yeah but even if his human body died, then the Acno on the outside would just lose his soul. This sounds like a big deal but Dragons in FT don't die without them. I mean they do die but like not to the point where it would be considered a loss. Acnologia would still be fully functional.

When human Acno was punched by Natsu and became dust the dragon form got shattered within the Fairy Sphere. Even if he doesn't the DS was kicked out of the pocket dimension so Mel'll fight dragon Acno after human Acno. In the profile doesn't even say he can survive without a soul so that's unlikely.

I switch my vote to Mel due to Full Counter and Hellfire.

Hmmm. Actually nvm I switch it to Acnologia again. My reasoning is that hellfire wouldn't work on Acno due to it still being a magic and the normal full counter moves wouldn't hurt Acno since it would be his own magic. Revenge Counter would be able to beat Acno but it takes charge time and I don't think the speed difference is big enough that he would be able to pull it off mid combat since Acno will do melee only after realizing his magic doesn't work. I think his telekinesis would still work on Mel since it's not something Mel could see and be able to reflect. Acno high diff

On the converse, there's not really much that Acnologia can do that won't get rebounded by Full Counter. Plus, Meliodas can use Lostvayne to rebound several of Acnologia's spam attacks right back at him.

I think Acnologia does have a speed advantage though unless there's a change for the time being.
