Dragon Ball Z Speed Downgrades

Basically what AWkguyDB said is my stance.

If the "inconsistency" is that the demonstrated multiplier is LARGER than the stated Multiplier, why not use the stated multiplier as an extreme lowball? Sure it's extreme but it's better than outright ignoring the Multiplier and downplaying the characters even FURTHER

SSJ2 Gohan is an even match with Super Perfect Cell who is 1.053 Kilofoe, where as SSJ1 is simply High 4-C and thus not even 22.4 Foe. Oh wait, not more than 100, but somewhere between 50 and 100 times stronger.
Then maybe SSJ1 should be a 4-B. High 4-C was based off when we had Cell at baseline anyways. Your logic doesn't work, you're basing the Multipliers off of a possible problem.

In verse I'll argue the difference is not even 10x But yeah with feats and statements the over 50x sounds fine.

Yeah exactly this, just because feats and other verse standards say one thing doesn't mean that the verse has specific rules. I am kinda seeing the problem here.

Dragon Ball scales based on Power levels, Ki signatures and Battle Numbers.

The Wiki scales based on Feats, Statements and Calculations.

I understand both logic but obviously they don't really jell with each other. For example, by Dragon Ball logic, Planet level characters appear at a battle level of around 10,000, this is based on several guides and King Vegeta's anime feat. But by wiki logic we scale by 59.44 Zettatons to 2.7 Yottatons of force to determine Planet level tiers. This is the problem we are facing here. We don't agree on using multipliers to scale up characters but strangly enough we have to or else everyone becomes static and we have Vegito fighting on par with Perfect Cell.

Fans of the series will continually argue the logic introduced to through the show, but ultimate the wiki will turn it down because it does not fit the logic of the wiki. Another example is with what qualifies as an AP stomp, Dragon Ball only needs a 2x difference to have an AP stomp but the wiki says we need at least a 7x. We need to come to some sort of middle ground.

Dragon ball quit using power levels since the android saga so honestly power levels are not integral to the series it is ofc is very relevant for certain arcs but acting like it applies to db as a whole is just false.

it's impossible to go off of power levels because theres not enough of them to formulate a whole system around even if your only just going off the manga btw multipliers only are confirmed for super saiyans, frost demons and kaioken everything else has no official source.

how can you state the wiki will ultimately reject your idea yet at the same time ask for middle ground knowing your proposal won't get accepted again btw it's not the wiki who rejects proposals it's the staff because their the only ones who have that power

btw dabura scales to cell via statements and prince vegeta scales to father via statements aswell btw even og dragon ball using statements to scale eg roshi states out of his two students gohan was superior but dragon ball as medium only ever uses power levels just ignore the immense amount of statements given in regards to power.

the wiki does not scale off feats because broly is at solar system in spite of feats so no they do not scale off of feats

it's not tier standards that are of concern it's the way the site treats dragon ball and the artificial rulings that are applied to it that creates issues the staff creates fictitious constructs like the toeiverse and creates subjective canon rules then wonders why they have scaling issues maybe it's because they ignored context and decided to go with own basis instead again it's their site not yours so if really have that many problems with scaling here you could always make another wiki of your own.

so if super is canon according then logically yo son has to be by extension right nope because the standards here are subjective and dumb btw if your acting off the premise that super is canon then yo son has to be aswell via the mention of tarble in both the movie itself and the guidebook for the movie.

when i say super is canon to the dbz anime then that must mean all related properties are aswell btw anyone with common sense should be able to figure this out but that's too much for the staff to fathom btw not saying all the staff members here are dense because there are a few that come to mind that aren't nonetheless point being the canon system here is inconsistent and that's what creates issues not the tiering system.

This thread should preferably be continued on the new forums. I'm closing this as we aren't supposed to have big CRTs until the move ends.
