I should mention that I feel like we're getting carried away with "Lol, XYZ was holding back".

Retracting this statement for now

@Ever

I was gonna answer the Jimeze thing, but I guess you found the quote.

@Matt

I thought you were memeing but then I realized it was actually a tier 2 Magnus quote.

Before we start arguing the tiers of other characters, who for certain is 3-A aside from the obvious like Toppo, Dyspo, the relevant U6 fighters and the like?

Koichirator matched an attack from SSJB Goku and Vegeta and pushed Ultimate Gohan to use a Full Power Kamehameha.

Obuni Anilaza Gohan Piccolo (?) Maji Kayo (being able to fight Dyspo and pushing Goku, unlike the guy in the beginning of the arc, who has nothing to add to his scaling) I think all of the pride troopers should be At least 4-C, possibly Universal, being able to consistently fight characters like Caulifla, Kale, Hit, 17, and God Goku.

I'm pretty sure only the "big three" (Jiren, Toppo and Dyspo) ever did anything impressive among the Pride Troopers.

O.

Hmm. But lots of them, like the girl who could make dimensions, were fighting against 3-A characters, Kale and Caulifla specifically. We could be specific though, if that's what is necessary. I do think, however, that they should scale to each other with the exception of their top tiers, being Rabbit Beerus the Hedgehog, God of Destruction, and God of Edgy Disappointment and pure hype.

A lot of the lesser Pride Troopers become kinda weird if you assume nobody was holding back in the early Tournament.

For instance, Tupper briefly clashed with Obuni early on, who put up somewhat of a fight against Ultimate Gohan. However, Android 18 stomped Tupper with ease.

I mean

We also have weird shit like Kunshi's attacks being so slow even Roshi could dodge them, but later they manage to affect Hit before he uses Time-Leap (In a limited capacity, but they did do something).

TL;DR ToP powerscaling is ******* garbage if you try to use everything. Sometimes I feel like we just need to ignore fights because accounting for all of them just creates an incomprehensible mess.

Well, that's assuming Obuni was trying to take Tupper out immediately.

Eh. Maybe just stick with 4-C, and let higher tiered ones be 3-A?

I mean...

this isn't exactly wrong.

Kunshi's explosive threading was a threat to Hit. Goku still powered through it in SSB.

@Azzy

Like

We don't need to account for Ganos trading blows with base Goku for five seconds, because that's just ridiculous.

We just need to look at a broad scale of a character's standing and not use every fight they have no matter how brief.

The Namek Timbs, b.

But, honestly, obvious outliers like MFTL+ Roshi is obviously an Outlier. Like all of Bulma's reaction feats.

So we have

Obuni

Anilaza

Piccolo, with his Namekian Timbs.

Kunshi

Kochicorator

Maji Kayo

Brief fights have the potential to be omitted, but shouldn't be written out as a rule.

Ganos is still fodder though, because he lost to Roshi.

To be fair, Ganos is fodder relative to the verse, not to the Tournament itself.

Most of the Tournament is fodder.

The manga actually does a pretty decent job showing this with Frost eliminating the majority of an entire universe within like the first minute of the Tournament, and Freeza cleaning up the remainder.

But anyway.

I'm guessing we'd just disregard Nigrisshi being the strongest U3 warrior? Because that's pretty blatantly not the case, unless I'm missing something.

Like, I love how all of these characters can Solo the HST. Dragon Ball is broken with AP. Now, I say that if they use their AP properly.

Anyway, yeah.

Who else has notable showings?

Maji=Kayo restrained SSJ Goku (Who needed to turn SSJB to get off) and Dyspo, while Ballarator forced Gohan to flee an encounter (Though that probably had to do with him holding back).

Literally all Nigrisshi did was get one-shot by base Cabba, lol.

High 4-C: Roshi, Android 18, Krillin, Ganos, Tien, Cocotte, Viara, Brianne, Su, Sanka, Nigrisshi, Narirama, Bollarator, Damon, Gamisaras

4-B: Jimeze, Botamo, Cocotte (Forcefield Durability), Magetta, Bergamo, Lavender, Basil, Hyssop, Hop, Napapa, Katopesla, Nigirishi

3-A: Frieza, Goku, Vegeta, 17, Obuni, Gohan, Koichiarator, Anilaza, Toppo, Dyspo, Hit, Cabba, Caulifla, Kale, Kefla (Base/SSJ), Bergamo (Via Power Absoprtion), Maji Kayo, Piccolo, Frost, Saonel, Pirina, Botamo (Durability), Kunshi.

That's lit, @Bruce, but why is Hop-- half the people on the list, 4-B...? I'm not against eyeballing either, but it seems inaccurate.
