Steppenwolf has a lot more genuine fighting experience. Doomsday only did as well as he did against Superman because of his overwhelming power. We do know that this Steppenwolf has already fought the original Doomsday so it's not as if this opponent would be anything new for him. I believe that Steppenwolf is a lot better at using his arsenal and abilities smarter. Speaking of which, Steppenwolf should already be upscaled from Doomsday, so his Electro-Axe would help widen the AP gap further. Voting Steppenwolf

We have outright confirmation he fought a Kryptonian Deformity in ages past (likely far stronger then this DD) and the character is able to easily survive sword strikes from Diana with his armor (it bounces off his leg in the underground fight) and those same strikes could cleave right through Doomsday with ease
