Does resisting Mind Manip means you resist all types of Madness Manip?

Pretty much the title. From what I heard, resisting mind manip doesn't mean you have resistance to madness manip, but recently, people told me that wasn't the case, and resisting mind should be enough.
 
though type 2 and 3 should be the same thing, but that just me
They shoudn't, the divide makes sense conceptually. One is directly messing with your mind, the other is your mind not being able to comprehend what you see. Its the difference between being made dumb and being too dumb from the very beginning.
 
But yeah, the rule of thump is: If you resist biological mind manip, you should resist biological madness. If you resist metaphysical mind manip you resist metaphysical madness manip. No crossing those 2 sectors though.
