does immortality type 8 requires you to never die or...?

I hear different things about this immortality. Can you still get immortality type 8 even if you do die but get resurrected?

From what I understand, yeah. The main point is that there's something that you depend on keeping you alive regardless of what happens to you. Provided it's a short timeframe.

I think i saw type 8's having it with ressurection, like homestuck god tiers, granted their type 8 is more like a weakeness but still.

In this case they would have type 4 and 8 and the explanation would link both immortalities

I am currently working on a file and the guy is Immortal as long as he is on earth. However, some people did find s loophole and killed him but he always returns because the earth needs him.

That's basically him being dependent on Earth (I assume the planet), so as long as Earth exist he will come back if killed. This is straight type 8.
