Does dodging light beam/laser only count as a speed feats?

This is due to being unable to sense the attack until it reach. If the laser is the real laser and moves at light speed, it would move at the same speed as the maximum speed information transfer can occurred. Unless the char have extra sensing ability they won't noticed the attack until the attack reach them.

For example, Dodging a laser after seeing it is impossible because the image of laser coming at you (information) will reach your eyes at the same time that the laser hit you. This is true for other methods of perception like electromagnetic wave sensing or radar as well.

The point is that, if a char dodge a laser after it was fired, apart from speed feat wouldn't this be perception feat as well? (Or at least it should prove that the char have some kind of perception ability that can relay information FTL)

Fiction actually usually doesn't really care about this problems. Consider how tons of characters can have conversation while moving at supersonic speeds.

Though I suppose technically you could say they have "instant senses" if you really want to. But if we are realistic, it usually isn't supposed to be an ability, but is just writing convenience.
