Do Characters Scale to Attacks That KO Them

Just finished watching a K-Drama and wanted to make a profile for this character, but I came across a feat which I was wondering if it scales to the character or not. Basically, the MC and another character both get hit by a speeding semi-truck. The MC gets knocked out and is in a coma for almost a week, while the other character dies on impact. So I was wondering, would the MC getting knocked out by the truck scale to value of a speeding semi-truck’s since he didn’t die nor get turned to paste.

Probably not, at least with this example specifically. How injured was he?

Probably depends on how they got KOed. It's possible to get knocked out by an attack that doesn't harm you in which case the character should scale imo.
But if they clearly took damage I don't think they can be scaled to it

this is the only scene I could find. He is then in a coma for almost a week

Here's an example of someone who scales to an attack that knocks him out. Michael was barely injured if at all, recovered fairly quickly, and immediately started killing again right after waking up.
