DIO has his Phantom Blood abilities (Criticism)

He's called a vampire, but he doesn't regenerate from his wounds like a vampire would. I'm pretty sure he kept all the stab marks and slashes from Silver Chariot. He seems like a zombie.

Is Vanilla Ice a zombie?
This is the problem of Induction.
Did he put on the Stone Mask?

No?

Then there is no reason as to how he would relate to Part 1 Dio and Vampires who used the Stone Mask.

Also, since you shouldn't use Nukesaku to disprove the scaling, the fact that all vampires that used the Stone Mask should have similar regen is back on the board.

Debunk

Maybe a vagrant would've been a better comparison

Polnareff isn't knowledgeable to know the difference between a vampire and a zombie. He's recalling from a childrens tale, not personal knowledge like Joseph would.

I already said he's called a vampire anyway, he just doesn't regenerate like one.

Zombies are those who have their blood sucked out by a vampire (and infected with a vampiric extract in the process) are turned into zombies who no longer feel pain.

Vanilla Ice had received DIO's blood

If we boil down your argument some more, zombies are really just those who've had transmission of blood from a vampire in some way shape or form.

Receiving Dio's Blood in no way gives people all his powers, and it would be unreanable that those powers would be anywhere close to his Part 1 self considering he only gave them a fraction of his blood.

"I don't care about the limit of the ability"

"He wanted to test the limit of the ability"

Coming from someone who has firsthand experience with Dio in Part 1.

Reffering to the same "ability".

The ability being the regen he just preformed.

Come on.

Straizo stated he does not care about the limit of the ability, implying he's utilizing it with full force.

Straizo also witnessed Dio's vaporization freezing technique.

Actually, he's implying he isn't using it at full force. He was saying he didn't want to test their limits, whereas Dio actually went that mile.

Yes, he did. Sadly he's clearly referring to the regen he's performing at that exact moment.

Is it safe to say this criticism has been refuted for now?

Because I really don't see anyone trying to join and comment on what they thought. I guess we shall wait.

I wouldn't say the critisism in it's entirety, however I feel there really isn't much to say about the regen.

Nah. Read what he says after that panel and throughout the fight. That's in regards to killing off the protag when they are weaker, which is persisely why he's attacking Joseph now and not honing his abilities.

Dio wanted to use his powers to their fullest, Straitzo wanted to just kill off the MC when they were weaker.

It's the entire context of their fight.

Can you specify a couple of panels leading to said context?

He was referring to Joseph's skills managing to survive the SRS eyes unlike Jonathan.

He was referring to Joseph's skills, managing to survive the SRS eyes unlike Jonathan. Potentially, a growing threat.

Yes, a growing threat. That's why he's fighting him now.

Thanks for proving my point?

Also, just to clarify, him just talking about Dio's powers in the same vein aas his is already enough justification for the scaling, although I'll gladly prove the superiority.

He used the SRS to kill Joseph like Jonathan.

Specifically, meaning that Joseph is by far a bigger threat than Jonathan.

Yes.

A growing threat.

Hence why he's fighting him now, and not later, as he describes was the issue with Dio.

The argument is going on a red herring.

The original question was when did "Straitzo claim that Dio has better regen than him,"

Nope. Follow the argument.

Straitzo said he had to use his powers early instead of developing them like Dio wanted to do, while using his regen. I already linked his statement where he claims he wants to kill Joseph early so he doesn't grow. He already knows Dio's abilities, and later claims that he'll use his earlier to stop Joseph, instead of doing what Dio did.

It's all on the context of his Regenerationn, "this ability". Throwing around fallacy claims where they don't belong isn't strengthening your argument.

Ironically, most of the OP uses the Fallacy Fallacy as a crutch, as you mainly focus on showing where Prof has fallacies as opposed to actually disproving his base sentiments.

I agree.

Despite, Straizo's lack of experience, he has regenerated far quicker than Dio with vampiric experience.

Yeah, it's really interesting.

He even goes as far as to say de developed them less, at that, and even knew Dio all those years ago.

If you want to talk about speed, Dio does his bullet regen feat nearly as fast as Straitzo does his own.

Then how does that escalate to "Straitzo claim that Dio has better regen than him," if Straizo can regenerate from a multitude of grenade blasts without said experience?

Whereas Dio requires blood to regenerate major wounds?

SolidEye234 said:

Because he says that he developed his powers less and had no interest in developing them in the same context that he talks about how Dio developed his more.

First off, he's referring to them in the same air, second off, he claims Dio went farther than he did with his powers.

I wouldn't call that escalation, just inferring basic data from the situation and his words.

SolidEye234 said:
If Dio had time to develop then why does Dio requires blood to regenerate major wounds?
No, he doesn't require blood to regen. It only enhances his regen.

How many times did we go over that?

In that scan alone Dio's just talking about stealing his energy. He's not explaining anything about regen.
