Dio can time-stop people who move in time stop, Goku is not getting passed that
So could Hit if you recall, his time-stop got better and he could re-freeze Goku who was already moving in his lesser time-stop. But now Goku is waaaay beyond that level. And that technique (Cage of Time) which Hit used on Jiren is way beyond any level of time-stop we saw SSB Kaioken Goku move in, and Jiren moved in it while still casual, and Ultra Instinct Goku is waaaay stronger than Casual Jiren now. So the idea he couldn't move in a time-stop beyond a time-stop within a timestop that is stopped (TIMESTOPCEPTION) is silly, I mean of course he could, he's the guy who breaks through the limits of his limits which were beyond his previous limits. Lol.

DIO time stop can freeze people with infinite speed. Infinite speed = any actions take 0 time. Thats a ******* immunity to time stop. DIO says "cool" and don't give a ****. Can stop a ******* timeline and lasts 1 hour. Goku NEVER will be able to resist it. Hit's time stop has limited AoE and lasts 2 second at best and exhausts him.

Oh dang, he can stop people with infinite speed? Well okay then yeah, Goku at mere MFTL+ speed gets beyond-blitzed in stopped time.

Vote changed to Dio, looks like he can just hax Goku to death. WRYYYYY!

Guys, for one thing, don't quote large walls of text. It slows down internet.

For another thing, is it in character for DIO to start off with time stop? Because if it's not, then Goku still has a chance here and it's not a stomp.

However, if DIO does time stop right off the bat, this thread should be closed.

Also, DIO's time stop works on guys who should be outright immune to time stop, so it's sure as hell working on Goku.

Then Goku can very literally do nothing in this fight. This is a stomp boys, I'm sorry.

I mean, Digimon has a character that can time stop immeasurables so there's that.

Uh...no. If every character that had working time stop was a stomp none of them would have matches.

But you see Yobo, Goku doesn't have hax. DIO has a hax that makes Goku unable to attack him for an entire hour which he uses right off the bat in character.

You do the math.

>hax is irrelevant

Ignoring the giga Necro and how old this thread is, that's not how things work here. A 10-C can kill a 2-A with the right hax. It's why it's called hax in the first place. Because it's basically a hack and cheating to get around things like durability and AP.

Goku is around a hundred billion times stronger than Dio, hax is irrelevant it's obvious Goku stomps
Not how it works. Hax ignores durability so you're not resisting unless your physically higher-dimensional (which Goku isn't) or have resistances.

Someone hasn't heard of a no limit fallacy, just because it works in their universe against weaker opponents doesn't mean it can work in other ones with different rules against much stronger opponents

I have and that's not how it works at all. Goku's body is still functionally on the same plane of reality as those in 3-A and lower so there's no reason to assume that he can power through hax when he doesn't showcase any resistance. We have verse equalizatio on the wiki anyway so them being from two different settings is completely irrelevant.

No-Limit fallacy only applies if the ability in question revolves around effecting a characters strength or stats or they're higher dimensional or have existing resistances. It would be NLF to assume standard soul manip can effect someone who resists soul manip or a 5D entity. You wouldn't say Goku is immune to Professor X's mindhax because Goku can punch really ******* hard. Or Goku is immune to paradoxing because he's super fast. No limit fallacy is a thing, but that's dependent on the hax in question, not how strong the target is, unless they hit higher D anyway, Goku is 3D though, so it's up to him to show resistances unless the ability being used against him has some sort of weakness or caviot that suggests otherwise.
